I have been tangled for years, thought about getting certified, then covid hit…..skip to now……well five months ago I had a heart attack and then at least three strokes. I lost my right side…my drawing hand. They wanted me to try and write my name and the alphabet lol but that was a joke Scribble was all I could do but I just can’t lose my art…so started tangling. And here three months later I can tangle, keeping in mind it doesn’t have to be perfect, I can write somewhat I found hope my art voice wasn’t silenced….thank YOU for being here to remind me

It is amazing how that flower pattern appears! Beautiful. I would love to do a black tile with pastel pencils. I have seen some really pretty tiles done that way. That would be fun, I think. Thank you for today’s tile. A thumbs up!!

I'm not kidding. I have no white pencils atall. Yesterday I had to use white paint. Took another 2hrs on my Zen time. I try... Hard to keep up. My cereal boxes are grey. Not tan.😕 I am going to have to raid the 'Weetabix' box now.

Yes, this was easy and turned out beautiful. But I have got to retrain myself to draw a little bit bigger. Hard to achieve any sort of zen when my eyes are straining to see what I’m doing! It’s hell getting old. I really don’t remember my very first zen tangle but I know that Sindoo, with its flow-y lines always gets me there.

Thanks Cyndee for another lovely lesson. I am still late on this project, but one by one I am tangling the tiles during the weekends. Hugs from one of your enders, a Brazilian one . 😀❤️

My first real Zen moment was with my first teacher Marieke Sanchez CZT. She explained the methode very well, everything came together. Before that moment I learned it out a book and missed the knowledge and essential feelings that only a teacher can offer! I am looking forward to the live lesson!

Hi Cyndee, can you let me know which step you forgot in your first attempt? I personally liked that one better as it is less busy and I would like to give it a go. I started tangling just a couple of days ago when I found one of your videos where you tangled inside heartshapes and two of those hearts where my first tangles. Then I did Yumemi, Harp and then got obsessed with Garlic cloves. I seem to pick and choose within your playlists and try what I like the look of. So thank you for your videos, I really enjoy them. I love to hear your dogs snore, I hear double snores as my dog will take a nap when I am tangling and she routinely snores way louder than your dog. Thank you!

Another lovely fragment (I'm learning the terminology ). This is such a versatile pattern! For me the zen moments are when I am concentrating without concentrating and just being in the moment or the next stroke.

What a wonderful pattern. Thank you for this whole series. I just subbed you today. My intro to Zentangling was via a friend who had just discovered it, and we played together. I still have my 2008 First Zentangle scan in my earliest art scans.

"You don't know the half of it." Lifes just hard sometimes. My best friends just had to put his dog down. 'ROXY'.R.I.P. Friends are dying off quickly, and they are younger than me. So much loss,so much sadness, I'm not religious, yet I feel something and seen different things life can't explain. "I lost sight of what I was doing" SORRY "ZEN" "BREATHE" "RELAX" "GRATITUDE" "FUN" "FEELS"/"FEELINGS" "TOGETHERNESS"/"COMMUNITY" There are no words for the feeling I get whilst Zentangling with you. You are so inspiring to me. You are helping with my depression. "GUARANTEED" I don't need medication. Just a pen,paper and Cyndee.💖

i think my zen moment was with garliclove. Molygon drove me bats but, that was the fun:)
@crystalcorl98723 жыл бұрын
Anytime I do a pattern like garlic clove with lots of auras/lines I fall asleep and wake up with a black pen line weaving half way across my work that I then have to incorporate into my pattern. Zen’s me right into a state of zzzz’s.

Cindee, many quilters use rhe Frixion pens for marking on fabric as they disappear with heat, whether an iron or a dryer. They are available in several other colors.

Just checking in to say Hi. I'm currently working on another of your series. This tangle is one of my favorites. It's magical. I have done it several times.
@alisonjohnston4883 жыл бұрын
My first zen moment with tangle was when I finally discovered how to make paradox work other than it looking liked a squished square. I couldn’t get the auras to be consistent and thick at one end and then thin at the other. But I sloooowed down and did a few breathing exercises and yeah. But Molygon is magic for zen.

I don’t know when I really had the first Zen moment since it happens every time I follow you. I wear a FitBit watch to tell me to get up and do 300 steps for exercise every hour and invariably the hour passes in the blink of an eye and I’m nudged to get up and walk again. I’ve been BAD lately and ignoring the walk signal. LOL - BUT I am catching up again on tiles. 🥴

Wow that was intense ‼️😳 Right at first I got kinda, SO confused but then I saw the pattern and it went much smoother from then on. Hey I have some really bad back issues as well. I’ve tried the nerve burns and they just don’t seem to do hardly anything for me so I guess I’ll have to go ahead and have the surgery. Something I’m really not looking forward to for sure. This will be my second. I’ve even got the spinal cord stimulator and it failed me as well. I just realized that I’m all this to the world. Well, so be it!!!!!!! And yes, I wish we could talk to each other. That would really be fun. Surely someone knows how to do that 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️???? Hey Cyndi, Thank You 🙏🏻 I really enjoyed this tonight. And I know you asked us late ones a question and wanted us to let you know what we thought about it but I’ll be damned if I can remember what it was 😳😳🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

I watched 'Create and Craft' I had no internet and I watched 'Sandra Rushton'. She now has her own 'Santangle' range. She does live tangling on 'Facebook' Yet, I absolutely love black ink drawings. I have done 'pointalism'(excuse the spelling) I like shading with dots. Then hatching blah blah blah. I just love watching n copying. I have no imagination though..😦
