Well , since several years, people ., we really recognize it, and give to him all credit he deserved. Anyway, he seems to be a great guy, and sometimes, when the fame reach someone so young (With "The Final Countdown ,they were in their early 20's and maybe if all that "exit,money machine" had followed with them, it had result too much (Sometimes I've readed that John Norum, can't take with it,that's why he left (for a while) I've heard that 90's was a bad era for so many bands of Rock, Hard Rock, Heavy.Maybe it was fine that they tried diferent ways at that time, and in the 21th century, this kind of Rock has back strongly. Glad to meet them . They have been proving and getting more and more experience and wisdom. So, I think it's fine that way too.Grettings

Joey Tempest is one of the coolest rock musicians ever. He’s so down-to-earth and matter of fact; no pretentiousness or huge ego. His love for rock ‘n’ roll comes through with a youthful enthusiasm, tempered by the wisdom gained from three decades of artistic growth. I admit I didn’t care much for Europe the first time around, but since their reformation in 2004, they’ve become one of my favorite bands. It makes sense; they’re the same age as I am and grew up on the same music. I hope they keep going for many years and albums to come.

Last 4 album is great. Joey is the one on the few best live and recording frontman in the world in the last 20 yers. My one hero in the last 23 yers. You are lucki given interview and stand araund this legend. Every people understand that Joey and Europe finaly is one on the best band, its simple go live, bay song and see. Growing up I always liked Europe. Having "The Final Countdown" as a favorite track. As time went on I really like Deep Purple, UFO and Thin Lizzy as well. For my generation, being 30 (+) today, I mostly heard Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, Soundgarden and had no clue how much great rock there was in the earlier generation. While I still enjoy all mentioned band my heart is mostly in the 70's. Still follow Europe though. They really had a quite good comeback even though the commerical pop/rock market doesn't seem to care that much... But must they? I think a reason Europe had to breakup was that they got too big too fast and the pop-community is seldom as loyal like many rock, jazz, electric, blues, hiphop fans can be. If there is no obvious hits many pop-fans move on. Now they seem to get a more stable fanbase again.

This could be so much better. Its good as it is if you're a Europe fan. But if you're a REAL Europe fan, and you appreciate the progression from Final Countdown into Out of this world and Prisoners, then you were so so SO hoping that those two albums were going to be discussed! At least mentioned! This guy has only been a Europe fan for 3 years he said. He's missing out on Europe's best work. They're newer 3 albums are just not as good.

Heh, amazing Joey :) The thing is, there were these two dudes, one from Upplands Vasby who was the leader of "Force" and the other dude from Hasselby who was the leader of, well, "Rising Force" ... and they never collaborated together - which is a shame in regards to music and where it could have gone.... the dude from Hasselby even acted as a sound engineer at one of the gigs "Force" played ... the dude from Hasselby then went to USA and became Yngve Johann Malmsten
