I’ll never forget when Fulham were attacking and there number six was literally open in so much space and Gordon looked up saw him and done completely nothing. I’m sorry but I love Gordon but that for me is extremely poor, I don’t care what’s going on, as a pro you never just down tools. He wants to be careful as fans won’t accept that every week.

Good honest show lads. I made my position clear last season. Eddie is out of his depth at Newcastle. He has never played or coached at this level and it's showing. He's no better than the manager I watched for years at Bournemouth where 17th was a success every season and he had pretty much carte blanche in every aspect of the club. I agree Billy that his days were numbered the day Amanda left. These players weren't sold on coming to Bournemouth and don't look impressed anymore

The biggest problem is Eddie wants to manage a big club with ambitions of competing at the top but wants to do it like at Bournemouth where he had complete control of everything and that won't happen. His days are numbered now

They keep showing Mitchell, Eales and Co on camera during the match to keep this media driven "civil war" shit going. The cartel clubs, EPL and media are all in it, anything to try mess with our spirit and destroy our club. Season after season since the take over they're all trying to feck us anyway they can. Although i agree there's been a mood change and drop off in attitude since Amanda Stavely left, but there's absolutley no way the performances and success of a whole football club should be down to her, we have huge professional people still at this club who fully understand football that should be able to keep going, it's a weak and poor excuse to put it all on Amanda, despite the influence she had, we have to be better and should be better than this as a football club and the players need to get over it immediately. If Tonali was ready to start against Forest a month ago, he's ready to start now, there's no logical reason for not starting him, if Eddie cant find a system and way to get one of the best midfieders in Europe playing, then he shouldnt have the responsibility of managing him, same for everyone else. i 100% think Eddie deserves time to sort it out though, we owe him our support to at least try, that's all we can do.

Hiya Ditchey, I watched your review this morning, and you and Billy gave it as you seen it, after watching you I watched Through Black and White Eyes, they talked about the game, didn't even give a players rating at the end, all Barry Thomas said "the Newcastle Players could have been allot better, but they tried, no Newcastle fan should get at the players", this is Choppy

No doubt there are some mistakes that need fixing and Howe part of that but he has averaged fourth highest points in the time at the club so only Liverpool Arsenal and City earned more. I could see Mitchell leave soon and we are suffering from not having some new players to freshen the squad up. Agree that Gordon looks disinterested and if he wants to go we should bank the £100m

I thought Howe lost the dressing room at Brighton, it wasn’t the case. Bruno wasn’t happy with fan criticism after losing at City, he gave the ball away for Liverpool’s winner at SJP. That was a dodgy little spell and we did well to recover. It did however show cracks in our mentality, cracks that we saw again throughout the season, but more so in the Chelsea and Man Utd games towards the end.

I don't know where it was read, but there was a story somewhere about Mitchell clamping down on the amount of training. I am not sure how much of this is true, but if it is, it makes sense that we look so disjointed and out of shape. Howe was all about crazy fitness levels, and it looks like Mitchell is trying to get us to play a different approach, maybe this controlled possession system which thanks to Mitchell and Eales we don't have the players for. Because they screwed up our transfer window.

I'm 100% with Billy in so far as PIF needing to get more involved in what is going on with this club. Perhaps they can step back again when things are stabilized, but there are far more questions than answers right now and some shit needs to go down pretty soon here if this keeps up much longer, and we're talking about in the next month now...right soon.

Right now we could be sitting second on the league with the same points as city. That being said we could just as easy be sat bottom of the league on zero points. Amanda was the heart of the club and we’ve had the heart ripped out of us, you can see it in every player. Uncertainty is our identity, players don’t feel safe and wanted at the club and there’s only so much Eddie can do. Going to be a bumpy ride these season guys and girls

Analysing the game again I realise how much Fulham targeted Dan Burn all game and without a number 6 sitter covering he was absolutely isolated with Schar constantly trying to cover him leaving massive holes. Starting Tonali would have solved that slightly but the lack of pressing from Isak and Gordon have allowed balls to be played through our midfield. Gordon and Joelinton needs dropping.

I honestly think Bruno is the issue, he is supposed to play defensive mid but keeps straying into the number 8 roll, without a CDM we were carved open again and again, we need an out and out CDM, Eddie is so naive thinking we can play without 1, does he think he knows better than someone like Pep 🤦 so frustrating. Lay off Gordon, he had a bad game, talk to me when he has had a bad month of games.

IMO I think the last time we actually played well was the demolition of spurs! We seem to start poorly in every game then the opponent scores and then we roll our sleeves up. Attitudes have defo been a factor and heads have been turned no matter what people say. We want our club to be elite?? Is Eddie that elite manager we need, we seem to forget we are still in the 5 year plan to get to be top 4 contenders consistently yet we all act like we should be there now reflection time for everyone needed..

Eddie lost me last year around mid October culminating in the Forest defeat with the Chris Wood hat trick on Boxing Day. Since then we have picked up points but that’s more to do with the players than the manager, in my opinion. The players are not playing for him now, that’s obvious. Time for a change and soon before this season becomes a write off. Keep him until January and that’s a certain bye bye to Bruno and Isak and then mid table mediocrity will become the norm.

I totally agree that the dissention in the camp looks to be spilling out onto the pitch, I watched the match and your defending was shocking, the whole team looked flat, Anthony Gordon I think is in the process of disappearing up his own arse, he needs to catch himself on. I'm very much a supporter of Eddie Howe, I think your problems run deeper than him and folk need to have someone to blame for the mess. As an outsider looking in, I've always looked at Newcastle as being a team that united the city, most other big cities have two or more teams, I think if you lose Eddie and you allow these 'business development' people to take charge, yes you'll be winning games and trophies but I think you'll also become sterile like Man City and Arsenal. The regular fans will soon be moaning when they can't even get a ticket to see the team.

How are people still in denial about Eddie ? He had 1 way of playing which was successful, out work the opposition... That's it, when it became clear last season that players bodies can't withstand this kind of load he got found out badly and that's all he has. I also believe that's why he lost the dressing room. it's blatantly obvious, last season we either blew teams away with our energy or they cut through us with ease. He's so far out of his depth it's untrue, many fans are waking up to this and I believe the club know this and are just waiting for the right time. This doesn't get better until Eddie goes. It's actually embarrassing, he plays games like Isak playing then can't coach a team to create chances for him.

fulham will finish 8th this season they could field 2 decent 11 sides. We are not Real Madrid we not going wipe our bots with with every team. We actually played well at times especially 2nd half. This hyper Analysis mind reading of players isnt healthy. Schar wanted to be there he looked like a player fed up at been 2 down. I saw players really sick flat for the away fans. 47:06 finally some sense... Not about what the fans want and people call him stubborn. If he thinks tonali shouldn't start then I trust that decision. Look at hall last season and everyone's frustrations with Dan burn. Then Hall comes in and looks good but we shortly see his limitations. Tonali is very young still and just because he had some games for Italy and some good assists doesn't mean he walks intok our team or makes it any better. The team is going through a confidence issue and most of it is because of the injuries last season and getting the rest fo the squad back ijnto the team this season. We've had to adapt this season to keep everyone together fit and firing on the same wave length. Patience people. Best start for 20 years. Could have been TOP OF THE FUCKIJG LEAGUE and you want to talk about performances...
