We're so far ahead as a league and leagues like Germany and Italy which have the extra spots this year are getting hammered by the fact clubs like Leipzig and Bologna are underperforming. Totally agree about the German League, there are many strong teams there & they all seem to be very well organised. Yes, they aren't as strong as England & Spain but they are pretty near to the Italian league nowadays in my opinion. I would love Marmoush but think our priority should be Dibbling. He seems like an Eddie Howe player. Left footed, technically gifted, young, English and most importantly, BIG. Howe likes athletic tall players and Dibbling could develop into a Leao kind of player. I wonder if Southampton will sell for £25-30m in Jan? Get £10m for Almiron and buy Dibbling for £30m would be great business for us.

We need to address the centre forward situation mainly because of the Wilson situation. The worry is if Isak got injured or suspension we would be weakened significantly. My attention has been drawn to the lad at Ipswich…Delap. I liked what I saw last night v Chelsea. *Left hand side. He is right footed and drifts to the left. That's my only issue with him, if he was left footed he'd be perfect for us. His best position is actually as part of a front two like he is doing now with Ekitike. I don't know if he could lead the line solely but he is quick and has a great finish.

Reports in Germany before Xmas linked Liverpool to Omar Marmoush and were quoted by Frankfurt sources they would want E50-60M(£41.5-50M) in Jan so would expect that to be the fee. Fbref compare him to Isak,Mbebbe and Junior. Nor is it a one season flash in the pan. Last season he scored 17G and 6A across all competitions 0.69G+A every 90mins season before at Wolfsburg 6G and 1A 0.38G+A every 90mins while this season its 18G+11A 1.38G+A per 90mins. I would go for him if we had unlimited funds as hes seems to be getting better each year and still has 1-2yrs to reach his peak.EH would make him better. With PSR probably could not afford him if we wanted a RW/CB unless we sold Miggy, Trips and Longstaff for around £30-35M. We could then offer £45M and then use £50-60M of the Guehi money to target a RW and possible get a CB. We could take a risk a given PSR and target Abdukodir Khusanov as our RCB and Maghnes Akliouche as our RW. We could get them both for £50-60M easily as quotes are for £17M and £34M in the media as their going prices.

Just need a keeper, CB and goal scoring right winger and we can become a permanent top 4 team. Compare that to the other 'United'...

Don't believe what the journos are spouting, they are being fed info deliberately by Newcastle. If you look at our losses, the £100m from the first window is now gone and this year is break even or a slight profit. Our wage bill hasn't increased massively (8th in league at £100m) while our income has increased sharply to almost £300m. Yes we have payments due for Isak and Tonali but on the whole we're in a good place. That doesn't mean we can go spend £100m (which is effectively £20m on PSR calculations for a 5 year contract) but we could definitely squeeze out £50m especially if we sell a player or two for £15-20m. The journos paint doom and gloom while the reality is that we don't have to sell but won't have £100m+ to spend until the summer - in the summer our 2 big loss transfer windows will be gone and PSR becomes FSR which will be based on 90% of revenues. PIF will also be injecting £70m (£35m injection per season which they are allowed) into the club by the Summer which is why we will be in a healthy position. The bigger worry is players wanting to leave if we don't get European football.
