Question for Steve, the One and Only: what's the balance between "emotionally move SL or Target" and "been wise taking a small profit or exiting at zero loss" when you see that a trade is going wrong ??? Often I wow to stick to the set up, and I end up loosing stupidly an obviosly gone wrong trade. However, I hate been a mess and keep moving entry and stops whenever I think i would be needed. Thus ...... What to do? Please comment on this. Tx.

you move the stop loss (SL) to break even (entry) after say your up 1% or so.. Its a free trade.. If it fails, 0% lost, wins and you can be up 2-5% fast. I know some traders who BE (break even) on almost 40% of their trades and they use price action which is the best way to trade for most people.

When you say if place a trade that’s the amount willing to lose. I play $1000 max per trade but I don’t lose $1000. If it goes against me, I’ll be stopped out at $200. Sometimes, $300. Who would keep holding to $1000 lost?
