Phoenix Post Christmas Overloaded 300s!

Started Saturday morning in West Phoenix with Refuse Arizona to film these routes known for their heavy alleys around the holidays. Thank you to the great drivers Scott & Andres, who surprisingly remembered me filming him from when he was just a trainee in 2014.

Awesome seeing truck struggle on post-Christmas garbage/recycling! I loved seeing him struggle LOL nice packing shot is well! Specially the one in between the tailgate and the body

The video starts out with a ScorpionPAK truck, then switches to a different style of packer. Noticed the difference between trucks and packing blades immediately. The ScorpionPAK truck came back for the last few minutes of the video. I reckon the ScorpionPAK operator would have had a lot less trouble with the garbage going down than the other packer.

I thought that tailgate and the body was supposed to have a seal. That truck I could see the trash in between

there is at the bottom not really on the sides, the newer curbtenders have the seal going almost all the way up the side

Mannn I bet 1 alley would pack out an entire truck so they have trucks only routed to go down those alleys or is it part of a regular route 🤔
