Today's tour is in Duisburg city. Duisburg is a city in the Ruhr metropolitan area of the western German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The 5th largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia, lying on the confluence of the Rhine and the Ruhr rivers in the center of the Rhine-Ruhr Region. In this tour, we walk through the city center on a busy day, full of people and activities. We discover the city, main streets, daily live activities and the land mark buildings.

During the war, 80 percent of the city's residential buildings were either destroyed or heavily damaged, and therefore had to be demolished. The industrial infrastructure has been almost completely destroyed. Not much of it has been rebuilt, as you can see. The majority of buildings are new architecture. The old one, mainly medieval and baroque, was lost forever. The madness of war.

Ich lebe in Duisburg. Wenn ich in die Stadt rumlaufen, fühle ich mich nicht so wohl. Ich sehe die Stadt jetzt in Video dann realisiere ich wie schön 😍 die Duisburger Innenstadt ist. Die Menschen müssen nur noch Freundlicher miteinander dann wir Duisburg ein der schönste Stätte Ruhrgebiets.

That was interesting! I visited Duisburg in 2018 summertime, it was too hot, the wrather was extreme. My goal was to see landscape Nord Park. I really enjoed my trip. Had no time to walk around the city as my visitcwas short, this video filled up the gaps in my trip.
