I’m a carpenter in the States. I shut down 15 days ago. Looks like at least another 30 days to go here. My chisels have never been so sharp, my truck hasn’t been this clean since the day I bought it, my shop has never been so organized... Stay safe.

Hi Dustin. Here in the uk 🇬🇧 we’re on lockdown too. Have been since Monday. I’m employed by a building company so I get 80% of my wages from the government while I’m off. We’re the lucky ones. Hope you get paid too. All my companies jobs are put on hold. My vans been washed. I got the kids to help. Tools sharp like yours. Wife’s working from home too doing admin. I started building an extension on the house last year so I’m able to finish it off. Only one builders merchants still operating and they won’t deliver. I live in rural shropshire so we’re more relaxed here. I’d hate to live in the city. Stay safe bro. 😀👍🏻🇬🇧

I'm in Auckland & we live in a villa... Have water-blasted & renailed, bog-patched & half painted our roof, currently repointing our chimney after grinding off the stucco. Buy a villa and you'll never be bored, finished, warm or have free time. :) This lockdown will be put to good use, though not having access to odd hardware is a PITA... Be well and thanks for the great vid's.

Taylor Devices provides a much better way to absorb earthquake energy, so your structure is safe. Small shock absorbers, similar to those on your car, hide in a few walls. The earthquake energy goes into these powerful cylinders and your structure remains unharmed. These small dampers absorb most of the earthquake energy, leaving your house intact. They are easily installed and are completely hidden. The Advanced Technology Council has prepared a guide for you that tells you how safe your structure is from earthquakes and how to protect it.

In my country, there is a no more than 100 m distance from home. No exercising, everybody should stay home. People don't work here for almost three weeks now. 25 percent of the people here filed unemployment request... We have already 24 persons died and almost 6000 have the corona which is quite a lot for 8 million population But we're trying to hold on. And the biggest joke running around is that the hardest thing in this quarantine is to keep the fridge closed. And that the dogs here are walked 10 times a day, not necessarily by their owners Be healthy all. We don't need this sickness

Hey Scott. You could buy a Network-Attached Storage device that allows you to expand capacity by adding hard drives. You get faster read/write speed than individual drives and more protection against drive failure if you use the right RAID configuration. Cost-wise you could even break even compared to those expensive external drives. You can edit over a fast network connection without having to transfer files.

Hey Scott, been here for a long time and I'm not ashamed to say you're my favourite KZbinr. If you're short of ideas for videos at the minute maybe you could do some short clips teaching the likes of the less experienced like myself some handy tricks and tips that get overlooked. Might sound stupid but things like when measuring and marking from a tape, where to mark from the tape and where on the line to cut to be more accurate, or how you set out a wall mounted handrail to be at the same fall as the stairs it's following. Just a thought, hope you're keeping well anyway. This won't last forever and me and the rest of your fans will still be here during and after this virus has gone 👍

Melbourne, Australia ( 7th Sept 20 ). We still in lockdown, this time the virus came back a second time and bit us on the bum big time. First lockdown we didn't go hard enough, thought we'd beaten it. Cafes reopened, all was well with the world. Second time around, its very serious. 8pm curfew, work permits to justify driving more than 5 kms from home. Nothing open except supermarkets and chemists. Certainly no construction, unless is emergency priority works. Hopefully it will ease up by end of September. But no complaints here, this thing has killed over 600 Victorians, many older people my age. Love your show, keep up the good work.

All the way through this, I thought that curfews had quite the opposite effect than what was desired. Curfews just mean more people out and about at the same time. If everything was open 24 hours, THAT would help spread everyone out at bit, maybe.

I'm living in China, and since 1week things are only just back to normal, that deliveries to the home are now possible, the living area lockdown has been lifted. So this has been 10weeks like this, so as an indication of how things will go then batten down hatches. Still, no school for my Son, bless all teachers in the world they do an outstanding job. Look forward to Scott of the Past episodes directors Cuts.

Hey Scott, we've been in lockdown for a month now in France. Its tough but I am still working, but each day we need to fill in special forms which are now digital, we were all running out of paper. Like the mask, its nearly impossible to buy masks in Europe, but will be getting a couple of those as they look far more comfortable than my half face breathers. All the best, hoping you make it through this....

I’m a roofer here in Louisville, Ky. It bummed me out to see all of Cameron’s tools. Someone broke into my truck 5 days ago and stole all my tools. Keep your stuff safe guys, unload your tools and lock them up someplace safe!

Scott... so weird to watch this episode 1 year on and maybe this will be great to watch it years to come to show what we did. I can’t help watching it thinking how well NZ did through this and how badly the UK and other countries did compared. Awesome vids as always 👊🏻
