2:24 "what if takes off and affects your privacy" LOL, luckily for them, whilst the show was huge in Europe, in New Zealand, where the actors are all from and where the show was filmed, the show was played on a start up TV channel so not many people could access it so this show quickly faded into obscurity there. A few actors gained more notoriety for being on local shows later eg Beth Allen went on to be in Shortland Street a premiere New Zealand TV soap drama

Hey Jon, Cloud 9 is also an NZ company so technically it's both British on one hand but also very much a New Zealand series, with most viewing it as an NZ series due to its strong NZ elements (not only the cast but we're proud of the Kiwi members of the Cloud 9 family who were part of the production). A lot of overseas films or projects shoot of course in NZ and then leave but Cloud 9 was the opposite, it started in the UK and then stayed, becoming very much Kiwi and NZ based. TV4 and TV3 showed The Tribe to NZ audiences (and there was even a Tribe Burger with Burger King for a time) but the series really has made a huge impact overseas of course in the UK, Europe and many countries worldwide. KTDA!
