some thing I’ve learned from watching these guys in the Hamilton collection is you have to keep these cars under warranty for as long as possible and if you enjoy the car so much afterwards then you can keep it and that’s when you can do all the mods and upgrades for it without losing as much downside. i love seeing life in this perspective i always visualized this stuff and watching makes it that much easier ❤

Thanks for this overview. Compare and contrast 2017 NSX, $400 a year to switch the wheels and tires summer to winter and winter to summer. Oil and filter change once every 3 years say $350 each time. That is it for over 6 years of ownership. When are you getting a Lucid Sapphire?

7:01 Accumulators are usually a nitrogen charged bladder that is used on a hydraulic system to give some “cushion” to the system. It allows the non compressible fluid to have something to flex against. You can see these plumbed on Tavarish’s last P1 video behind the front bumper, looks kind of like a miniature hot air balloon.

honestly its not that bad for insurance and taxes considering the value of the cars. If you were going to buy these cars you would have to do it outright no loan. Options are probably the biggest cost but thats why there optional. Im sure you guys are set anyways on money you probably have investments up the wazoo that produce plenty of passive income for you to enjoy so theres nothing to really worry about, Id do the same honestly

They were entire headlights, it wasn’t a cleaning, the headlights on my m4 were $2500+ without the ballasts so I can imagine p1 headlights being 20k

Is it though. Thats what happens when you buy very limited production vehicles with such crazy build quality and specs. None of the parts are cheap or quick to replace, they probably mostly are all not made until people order parts, Not too mention the build quality considering every single piece on the car has to deal with not tearing itself apart as its repeatedly able to launch so quickly. Then the engineers and mechanics that work on these cars don't come cheap. It stinks but there's a reason not everyone in the world drives mclarens or supercars.

McLarens aren’t built well at all, they’re very iffy on what’ll break next. You could buy any modern Porsche and beat the hell out of it all day everyday for 10 years and nothing will break. Shit, for that fact a Hyundai or Kia lol. I don’t care how bespoke a car is. For the money they sell them for, shit breaking isn’t acceptable at all.

@@BAND-MAID-USA i mean thats a common issue with a large portion of cars with butterfly/scissor doors. Its a part that tends to fail a lot. Like you aren't wrong they do seem to have reliability issues, but other than the p1 they don't seem so detrimental price wise for the yearly maintenance, senna has been arguably cheap definitely for its price.

@@austinmoore5334 I have 2 vehicles with upward doors. Both are pretty old. Never once have I had any issue with hinges. McLaren just accepts the fact that their shit breaks. They build pretty decent engines for the most part nut the rest of the body can fall apart at any second.

I remember watching some of the MF Auto videos before the rebrand to triple F but I don’t recall ever seeing Jordan with a shaved head! Now I would LOVE a shaved head- it would save me going to the hairdresser every week. I just hate washing my hair so much, I only do it myself once a year, when my hairdresser has a holiday. That’s how much I hate it. If I could get someone to come around every day and clean my teeth, I’d outsource that too 😂

I like Mc Laren and love to see it being very successful, but Omg are they taking the piss, those prices for the P1 are totally theft. I would not now buy one (and I could) for any reason and would give me second thoughts on buying any McLaren. Vehicle virgins was quoted 7,000 for a battery for his LT600 also !!!
