So I spent 20 minutes swearing at who ever fitted my gas bottle (only recently got the caravan) and cursing at them for doing the pipe up so tight, then googled it and it made me laugh out loud once you said it was a reverse thread 😂, thank you, it was very simple once I realised

Don't tap the connector on the bottle. It's made of brass and very soft. Even a small mark or grit on it can cause a gas leak.

A couple of times I've done it properly, then there is a leak. Then in a few days all the bottle is empty. Why is that? I is thick or the bottle comes with defects?

I didn't know that propane gas bottles had a lefthand thread when I was trying to disconnect one on a gas barbeque last year. Both our Coachman and the Lunar had butane bottles and the regulator just clips onto the inlet for the gas bottle. The bottles need to be kept upright. The Lunar had a 15kg bottle when I bought it so I bought the correct 7kg bottle and sold the bigger bottle.

What a life saver had the van 3 years and never had to change the gas and when it finally ran out it was as a dark wet night so to have a easy to follow video was great many thanks

I ran out of gas the other day in the middle of cooking dinner, and this video literally saved it! Had some memory that it was a little complicated until I looked up this video.
