Don't worry, it's natural for PES player who migrate to FIFA. I also have defending problem when I first move to FIFA after being disappointed by Konami. It feels so different but with frequent playing, it will become no problem. It's just being a different system.

Keepers are terrible in the game and defence is a joke too. On the higher difficulties they are always just sprinting or dribbling past your (non excisting defence) and there's nothing you can do. You just can't keep up with the ai skilling and turning over and over again and if you manage to block them they just shoot at the speed of light from an impossible angle outside of the box into the top corner.

Matt10 dropped sliders. I've been using them with normal game speed with sprint speed at 15, and acceleration at 48. Having a blast. No, it's no perfect, but it's a more enjoyable experience this time around. PES was far from perfect, but we overlooked its flaws (had a lot of them) because it looked so good visually and we could mod the hell out of it. Give FIFA a fair chance this year. Cheers. PS. In PES 2021, the pace with which the AI Played was wonderful. Some of the dribbling moves the AI makes in the penalty box was breathtaking to watch. They slow down, they are patient, they stop with the ball look for options, pass back if there are no options, use skill moves. Amazing. Here in FIFA 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18 - The AI does this: pass - pass - pass pass - pass - pass - shoot What a crap show. This game totally sucks. p.s But will watch your content TTB! I really recommend (along with slider adjustments) using atleast manual through balls. The risk reward factor and the time it gives for the AI to defend properly because you can't just blindly hit through ball first time really changes the shape and feel of the game. Also cuts down on the ability to spam counter attacks (leading to less ping pong gameplay )

If your struggling with defending You should really consider changing the Camera view to Co- op then adjust height and zoom to ur preference... helps allot!!

One defending tip I got that has made a difference is to block passing lanes and pressure the opponent in posession with your CDMs or CMs while the CPU is moving up the pitch. Only take control of the CBs for 1-on-1. It makes the back 4 more coordinated, leads to more offsides by the AI, and leaves less gaps in defence. Of course if you see a CB on tackling range of the opponent in posession, then quickly switch to him and get that ball.

Even their corners are a short corner almost always. Both the attacking an defensive AI are fucking pathetic and midfield is non existent. Players sliding all over the pitch is worse than it ever was. Joke of a game.

Best way to combat this is use the True Brits realistic sliders for FIFA 22, there’s a whole video on it. By raising the shot error for the AI the goals no longer fly in the top corner. Best thing I ever did was use the sliders he recommended, made the game super realistic and score lines stay low. Made me fall back in love with fifa. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed (takes a bit to get used to though, but just go with it)

@@Every0607 Use the OS community sliders. They work great. I lost to Freiburg 2-1 with Leverkusen and the Ai wasn't playing ping pong. And not every shot goes in. Far from it. And defending is much better because marking is up and first touch error is more realistic. It's just football with those sliders..

Ricky here are some tips to defend on fifa from a fellow pes player, I had difficulty defending until I could hold them to a goal or no goals at all 1. Don't use tactical defending obviously 2. Don't just follow them around in the penalty box increase your field of view to everyone around especially when they start dancing around and try and read what they will do 3. Don't bother using jockey, that's for people using tactical defending, your analog stick should be enough

@@lordspalse0062 it's not impossible, jockey is thrash, jockeying can make your player slow making it easy for the a.i to create a yard to get a shot off, analog stick let's you block passing lanes and also quickly close down to avoid them getting a shot

The big problem is that smaller teams, even on legendary, should make mistakes, missed pass, bad positioning but it seems that rarely happens. It's just as a weak team becomes the powerful Real or Man City in legendary... AI is just not very good on that aspect

Hey TTB you should tweak the sliders, Legendary with default sliders just has the AI ping pong pass around your defenders. If you increase pass error for both you and the CPU you'll have a better time

That is more than enough for ultra yes. It’s not locked to 60FPS. There is an option to unlock FPS or limit to 60FPS like he did.

Unlock fps in the game and lock it with nvidia/amd control panel vsync, then cutscenes will also be at 60fps. Fifa locks them at 30 even when you choose 60 on the game.

Looks and feels almost the same as fifa 22, If I were a dev I wouldn't care too much about graphics but more in adding as many animations as they can to make the game feel more real.

They do upgrade animations to be fair. The difference will not be very big compared to the previous version, but if you compare Fifa 19 and Fifa 23 you will see it clearly
