The NEW AK-308 - Solo Gray Zone Warfare

The AK-308 is not officially part of the Ratnik series. The Ratnik program focuses on equipping Russian forces with a comprehensive infantry combat system, which includes the AK-12, AK-15 and AK-19 rifles. The AK-308, on the other hand, is designed specifically for export markets, using the 7.62x51mm NATO round, unlike the standard Russian rounds used in the Ratnik kits. There is no indication from available sources that the Russian government plans to include the AK-308 in the Ratnik program for domestic use.

I had 15 of these rotting in my rifle case, used to collect it religiously and the AKS74U buffer tube adapter so I could put MOE stock to it. Tried to use it for some of loot runs, it's good, can 1 hit most of the time with M80A1 but you can also do that with M4 + M855 with better overall performance. Gave away 10 of those in random servers.

The AK-308 is basically a close quarters monster as a chunkier big brother to the AKS. There are better guns to engage at longer ranges that have more reliable shots-on-target (FN is M4/M700 turf). Putting anything stronger than a Spectre or Pilad 2.5x isn't really playing to it strengths. AK-308 wants to run TB with a dot sight and laugh in M80.

AI is not too bright. Even though you are killing them without a suppressor on, they are just wandering around mostly as if nothing happpened.

not much differ from most other guns in game. Some AI will recycle your bullets and give them back on reload. lol
