I believe in God and even I thought that was funny. I feel I should clarify, I believe in only God, no dogma. Mainly because I see a possibility for God to evolve to a conscious state the same as us. The big bang deals with energy, if we evolved to self awareness then it wasn't selective. Science proved there is a larger energy signature that we cannot see, evolution should have worked the exact same way. Otherwise evolution is wrong and thats not how we gained self awareness. It does surprise me though that no one ever questioned that. Plus there is no skull linking us from neanderthals to modern humans, there should be a hybrid transition skull but there isn't. Neanderthals did not procreate and pop out modern humans, there needs to be a link to definitively prove thats where we evolved from. But there isn't one and thats why I believe only in God. And yes I do think all organized religion is wrong and created by man so it is also flawed. I just can't jump from an "i don't know" to a "yeah sure I know there isn't a God". Saying "I don't know" is how you gain more knowledge, I refuse to cut that source of information out. Thats why I say 'I', emphasis on the 'I', believe in God. I know I shouldn't try to convince others he exists but can only state how I am looking at it when the topic arises. Its a personal statement.

Did you ever consider why animals must suffer, when it was humans who “sinned”? That one sat with me heavily.
@Sorceress_of_Minds Жыл бұрын
I also saw a huge problem in that. The necessity of predators and prey to exist, obligatory carnivores who must maul another animal to death painfully to eat it in order to survive, and the other has to run and fight and develop traits to survive themselves. Looking at the animal kingdom always made me feel disturbingly conflicted. I’ve heard some Christian apologists’ explanation o that (William Craig for example) who made matters significantly worse, by implying it was necessary for our ecosystems, as if God wasn’t omnipotent and couldn’t have designed nature differently.
@zechariahcoe6675 Жыл бұрын
@@Sorceress_of_Mindshave you considered the idea that animals all go to heaven? Because there’s a verse that says that the animals will dwell in the holy mountains and won’t hurt or kill each other anymore and have knowledge of God. It’s in Isaiah 11:9. This means animals will be saved. For an eternity in a kingdom with no pain or suffering, the time here on earth will seem like a blip in time. Well worth the trade in my eyes. If it still doesn’t sit well with you, I’m willing to have the conversation.
@Sorceress_of_Minds Жыл бұрын
@@zechariahcoe6675 I’ve studied the scripture for little over four years even with the help of scholars, and also Jehovas witnesses who literally dissect the Bible, and the notion was that the animals in paradise won’t be the animals that have once lived here on earth. Pets and all other animals cease to exist after their death and the reason for that being their inability to comprehend the existence of a deity such as god as well as their inability to worship that god. They won’t be resurrected. And if you look at the anatomy of all the animals, you’ll find an awful lot of them is carnivorous, meaning they need to consume meat in order to survive. So either their entire anatomy will be changed or they’ll simply not exist in ‘heaven’. The whole idea of heaven is wishful thinking to somehow bear the life on this world as sanely as possible while soothing our fear of dying.
@akiheavenly6 Жыл бұрын
Your answer is in the book of genesis. When man sinned, the whole world got cursed and *death entered the world* . Humans since then must suffer and work for their food, so must animals suffer. Humans and animals have to kill to feed and be killed for other animals to get fed.

If I had been baptized I would have been 4th generation JW. My Mom died a JW. Only one Aunt and couple cousins are still JW. What turned me off completely was reading the old testament. The 2 places in first 5 books it mentions homosexuality. Lol my Mother pointed this out in the Abrahamic tale it mentions Sodom and Gommorah. When the Angel's went into save Lot. The men did not ask for the Angel's to come out they demanded. They were going to rape them. There was no love or relationship or commitment. It was a violent act. An act of power. An act to remove choice and dignity. The second was Moses giving the laws. God gave 10 commandments. None of them said anything against homosexuality. Moses did. I am not LBGTQ. I am not a feminist. But the bible maybe inspired by God. It's still totally and completely created by Man. I do truly believe in God. I believe in Jesus. I can still admit I can be wrong that God exists. I can accept God is an Alien, not of this Earth. What the gent in this misses in his talk and one most would throw at him is that Adam and Eve were perfect human beings that had choice and gave into temptation. Neither accepted responsibility for their sin. Eve blamed the snake and Adam blamed Eve and God. It got them kicked out of Eden. If you really believe the Genesis story then your answer is we became susceptible to the poisons and other animals when kicked out of Eden. Evolution or Mutations all of this are great arguements. What he misses in his arguement is that man has been given a choice to do Good or Evil. Mankind is the rope in a tug of war between God and Satan. All these animals that are poisonous to us could be created to punish us. Like I said I believe but can accept I am wrong. The truth comes when we die. That's it. I don't want to know who is right on this arguement anytime soon. I try to live my life simply. Love God, Love Christ, love my family, try to love and forgive my enemies (I fail here a lot.) Try not to judge others. Treat people the way I wish to be treated. Like this guy my question to God would be simply "Why?"
@t-masterrules50853 жыл бұрын
@@rebeccamiller3248 I had to ask my jw friend to see his take on this video. He asked me a simple question in return. Were these animals designed to hunt humans initially. Sure they may have the means to, but we're they meant for humans? According to the Biblical account of creation, man was the last living being to be created. With that being said, It's not far fetched to conclude that animals were actively involved in their natural hunting cycle of predator and prey before man was created. It's also not far fetched that after creating man, Yaweh could have placed a kind of protection on man that prevents animals from even thinking of the thoughts of attacking them like he did for Cain after he murdered Abel. Even if God were a fabrication, the bible is still a good principle to live by. And even if the afterlife were fake, it would be better to live as though it were real because it would suck to actually find it real and have no hope to partake in it than to sink into nothingness if it were not real. Even if you live a miserable life to gain an eternal after life that's non existent, you won't regret it, because you won't exist. However there's evidence of an afterlife and these current era is a testament to the existence of a God since things are unfolding just as the Bible predicted it would.

@@deuteronomy6411 Except for all the milions he killed and is still killing ... yeah more or less. Thing people forget or don't know - researching back in time and seing and reading how the Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and other related religions formed. Before Bible was written - and the origins of God and how this religion evolved and split into modern beliefs ... God was originaly - even in old Jewish religions - not intended to be good. Or merciful. Not at all. These notions came into religion much later on, and were added to the bible later. This is why there are such glaring contradictions in the Bibile and Koran ... between God's actions and his supposed merciful nature. It was Satan, Shaitan, Iblis, Devil (etc.) that was also added later on to explain the evil in the world - as kind of antithesis to God. At the time when this character was added to the story, it was fashionable and new to think black and white - good vs. evil - and many religions embraced this idea of good vs. evil battle. Before this point - God was master of both - the good and the evil. He was supposed to be the originator of both. And many old testament stories originate from this era and were copied or adapted from religions older than Christianity or even Judaism. In other words - God is not supposed to be only good - but evil as well. But as religion evolved, and corrections were made, we end up with such contradictions in the Bible. Bottom line is - "God" or "Gods" was explanation of the natural forces humans have no controll over and didn't know how they can be explained. Tornado wrecked your village? God did it ... better sacrafice a goat to suppress his anger ... you had a nice meal? It was God that provided you for fuzzy feeling ... better give him a goat aswell - so he might provide you more! What's that? Drought?! Oh no ... God was not happy with that goat last time ... must've been not enough ... who knows - he eats a lot! But now it rains again ... Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! I find it hilarious that someone seven months ago had the audacity to say you were not "a real Adventist." I, too, am 72 years old and a former Adventist, fourth generation. I can definitely refute the idea that a person cannot claim someone was not a "real Adventist." How can you know someone else's heart. I taught in the Adventist school system for three years and served as an elder. My first realization was when I was kicked out of the church for marrying my second wife and without a chance to defend myself and no counseling from the church leadership as the Bible requires. The second? When I realized a prophetess could say, "I saw" in a vision something that the author had actually plagiarized. The nail in the church's coffin? When the prophetess said that if one part of the churches teaching fails, it all collapses. Despite attending a "worldly" university and majoring in Zoology, it would take field work to realize with complete certainty that the earth is not 6000 old and the worldwide flood was a myth. If the earth is not 6000 years old, the entire teachings of Adventists cannot be trusted. Don't take my word for that. The prophetess, Ellen G. White said it. The older I get the more often I say, "If there is a god, she has a lot of explaining to do." My study of Chinese assures me that had I been born in China or even in a non-Adventists family, I never would have joined what they call "the church" meaning there is no other option. I won't convince the verdad absolutionist below. It's impossible. However, I have come to live my one favorite Adventist text. "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." I feel so free of the artificial pressures of "Believe or die forever." As I write in college in a very short poem that shocked me as given completely below, "I would not give my life to live forever." Yes, I can hear the alter argument. I'm serving the devil and that's why I have no guilt. I would say, no, I know the truth, all millions of years of it, and it has indeed set me free.

My personal argument against Biblical creationism is the backwards retina of the human eye. The nerves of the retina have to trace back through the retina to the brain, creating a blind spot. Designers make mistakes but the squid has a correctly installed retina, showing the correct design. Retroactively changing a component of a working system is difficult but the fix is easy in this case. No other component aspect, such as eye socket size, muscle anchor points, or retinal nerve entry point needs to be changed. The change is internal to the eyeball and fixes a flaw without problems elsewhere. Image processing load in the brain is even reduced as it doesn't have to compensate for the blind spot. Yet the designer hasn't bothered fixing his magnum opus design. Evolution explains how species can acquire usefully working but flawed features.
@kenshilohАй бұрын
The backwards retina is your best evidence against creationism? What about death and suffering? Why pick on the retina? I have had great eyesight for many years, but I can no longer jump over garden fences (I threw my hip out once, could not believe it, then threw it out trying it a second time!). I was raised by an atheist, so I had not conception of God. Yet, I reasoned that pain has a purpose: it tells you to get your hand off the flame. I then reasoned that pain around the world means that something is wrong with the entire planet (any arguments so far?). I somehow knew that when I found out the source of the pain, I would know the solution and life would become pain-free. Yet, what do you do with the problem of pain? Without God, the universe is like a cruel prankster. It causes your body to decay slowly as it takes away your loved ones - one by one! Then, finally, it is your turn to die. Moreover, since you do not believe in an afterlife, your life becomes absolutely meaningless, like polishing bells on the Titanic! What about car accident? People are cruising down the road, then they are wiped out instantly by a semi truck. Ever hear of Paul Walker (Fast and Furious)? He was having a blast driving in a Porsche, the next moment he is being roasted alive. Gone, horrifically gone, in 60 seconds! How do you live with that, knowing that could be you today? Conversely, I was a pedestrian hit by a car. It was almost curtains for me, but, afterwards, I was almost disappointed that I did not die: I would have seen Jesus! He is my best friend. He died on a Cross, suffering the ultimate pain so that you may have the cure for pain! Yet, if you reject Christ, your pain in the afterlife will be absolutely chronic! Christ is the only cure! I hope you will go with God. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

If you don't obey the laws you are seperated from all those who do listen and obey and you are put in jail or captial punishment even. Eden was flawless, Adam and Eve could do anything they wanted to in the garden except one thing. That one thing had a huge consequence. Is all they had to do was choose not to do one thing, they could do anything else, they chose poorly. Lets say you could do anything on this earth, own everything and not have to work, but you cannot do one thing, that is murder another human being, you choose murder, and you go to jail for life, which is your entire existance. Why is this concept so foreign to people. God did not expect Adam and Eve to be flawless.. Organized religion is wrong, it will always be wrong, you didn't read the right book if you read the Bible. Its edited, proven to be and it is wrong. That I am with all of you on. But to jump to "there is no God" when you know humans lie, is really jumping the gun. It does not mean that God does not exist, God can exist outside the bounds of any book and any set of rules attributed to that being. Extremely complex sciences prove God exists, it means you have to be looking into things like the Higgs field and the Boson particle, wave particle duality, quantum entanglement etc. Those type of sciences, not some random basic science we all learned in the 7th grade. No one science is going to disprove God exists because the possibility for it will always exist. Ignoring that possibility is a you problem not an entire world problem. As a side note: Please do not ask me to explain something that requires an actual thesis to answer, I did my due diligence because its my soul, your soul does not belong to me. I don't have to prove anything to you nor you to me, we all have to make this type of decision for ourselves. This is just my opinion on it and why I can't say God doesn't exist, if I am going to cite science as the reason I don't believe the church, then I have to use those sciences to understand where they lied and where it all went wrong. Pretty sure it was when the church literally eliminated the book of Enoch and then added books beyond the death of Christ. The bible is suppose to have 4 books from Enoch at the beginning of it, and is suppose to end at the Gospel of John according to the Vulgate. Everything after John is literally wrong and cannot be included, so its proof it was tampered with. Everybody constantly complains about the bible, thats not the book you need. To see the philosophical side of it you have to read about ancient Sumerians, thats where the stories originate from, literally the first modern human civilization. Their religious belief was "God exists and lower Gods exist", thats it. They told the purpose for some things but largely left it as the only thing they could definitively say that was true. Its just like the guy in the video who didn't account for a balanced ecosystem before condemning certain animals, just completely ignores a very BASIC science. Bed bugs are literally food for spiders, acting like we are God and saying a life is insignificant is a problem with us, how small does the life have to be to say it doesn't deserve to live. He acted like bed bugs kill in one bite, they do not, they are an annoyance but we can control them and that is very easy to see. One animal that DOES kill with 1 action is humans, we destroy the Earth and our own ecosystems, we cause the collapse of our own civilizations. But somehow our arrogance makes us see our life as the most important life because we overran the animals population, of course we see it as our lives are more important as society is always defined by our parameters and when something defines its own parameters then it will always appear as they are right, because they serve their own self interests, we are not right.

Well for one, as you admit early on in the video, this argument only attacks a specific kind of god. It doesn't disprove god generally as the title suggests. The problem-of-evil style argument you used with bed bugs still doesn't quite work though. Let's look at bed bugs. A bug doing what it's required to do to survive and reproduce isn't evil, considering that bugs are "programmed" a certain way and don't have a choice in the matter. They don't deliberate on whether their actions are right or wrong, good or bad, cruel or otherwise. In other words, bugs are amoral. One might argue that god could've programmed bed bugs differently, to where they could survive and reproduce while not at the expense of other species. The fact that god hasn't done this supposedly contradicts god's "kind," "empathetic," etc. qualities. There are multiple issues with this, however. For one, you'd have to claim that bed bugs' behavior is objectively bad or evil in the eyes of the universe, instead of just nature amorally taking its course. You'd have to assume both (A) morality is real and objective and (B) the actions of amoral bugs produce morally bad, evil, or cruel results. (B) is much tougher to accept than (A), but accepting (A) also comes with its own problem. Many argue that, if morality is real (not just a human invention), it would need to stem from a god. Even if morality does not stem from god, and there is evil in the world that god could've prevented, you still have one last problem. It's possible that a world in which god takes a hands off approach, where outcomes within the world are not predetermined, is a better world overall than a world in which god is constantly involved, altering outcomes. This, of course, contradicts the teachings of many religious sects that believe god is very involved in the world, but it's certainly possible for these sects to be wrong and for a god to still exist. God can still exist even if the creationists and bible literalists are wrong too.

The question isn't about whether the mosquito or bedbug is evil, but the "creator" who let them loose. You cannot on one hand say that god is good, kind, wise, just, and loving but then dodge with the excuse that the bug is living its true nature, happily making eggs for the next generation, and somehow that lets their dream of a loving creator off the hook. Morality is never objective, because mores are temporary local societal constructs. Ethics are related to human or sentient suffering, and frequently are absolute and fixed. A volcano is doing what's good for volcanoes to be doing, but it's harmful for living things, and that makes it bad. The most "objective" snobbish one who says there is no objective harm in what the volcano or mosquito does, is forgetting the last time they got swarmed by mosquitoes or stubbed their toe. They're not virtuously impartial and exacting in their logic, but cold hearted brutal and callous towards the people hurt by the volcano. "God loves me don't you know. Never having been religious myself, I hadn't previously reflected on the implications of the Genesis verse on the pains of childbirth, but now one major issue jumps out at me - the problem of maternal and infant DEATH, particularly when considered from the point of view of the newborn/stillborn child (rather than from the point of view of the mother being 'righteously punished'). If you accept the Bible's problematic concept of generational punishment at face value, you might be able to rationalise the idea of PAINFUL childbirth being inflicted on women owing to Eve's tarnished legacy, but what about maternal and infant DEATH during childbirth? Pain alone might punish the childbearing woman for the sin of Eve, but the death of the woman and/or her new child punishes the whole family/community, and directly hinders God's supposed plan for humans to 'be fruitful and multiply'. And the stillborn/newborn infants experience the brunt of this supposed 'godly punishment': they either die themselves, or they grow up never knowing their dead mothers - their lives are thus blighted right at the outset, through no fault of their own. Regarding infant mortality, I suppose that it could be seen as just one facet of the overall punishment of humanity via mortality, but even then it seems particularly senseless within the Biblical narrative of the purpose of life. As I understand it, the Abrahamic God's plan is to give souls free will to choose/reject God and make moral decisions during life; the souls will then be judged after death based on their choices/actions. Yet, how does an infant who dies in childbirth fit into this plan? They never had the chance to accept or reject God, or to develop and apply a sense of morality during life. I don't know enough about how Abrahamic religions rationalise infant mortality, but I have heard a variety of contrasting ideas: for instance, many old-timey Christians used to believe that unbaptised stillborn infants went straight to hell or limbo, whereas now I sometimes hear people express the belief that stillborn infants go straight to heaven. As far as I am aware (and please feel free to correct me), the Bible doesn't explicitly tackle the rather confusing role of stillborn infants in God's plans. Coming back to the Genesis verses that rationalise childbirth pains and mortality as punishments for Eve, Adam and their descendants, I find it a striking omission that the thorny issues of stillbirth and maternal death (which stand at the intersection of childbirth and mortality) are not even raised, let alone addressed at some length.

This is why I tend to believe in reincarnation. You failed your birth survival roll? Go ahead and roll up another character.
@richardfeverel993 жыл бұрын
Interesting! Although I don't believe in reincarnation myself, I definitely agree that it is a much more just and elegant solution to the religious/philosophical problems associated with infant mortality than any of the more typical solutions that I have heard proposed by Christianity. If one wants to believe in a divinity with a sense of justice, reincarnation offers a reasonable alternative to early death, sort of like a replacement warranty (i.e. everyone gets a free replacement body if their original one dies before the warranty is up). My one caveat is that I have difficulty squaring the concept of the all-powerful Abrahamic God of Genesis with the idea of him frequently needing a do-over when introducing souls into the world; this seems both inefficient, as well as needlessly chaotic and traumatic to the families of dead infants. I find the idea of infant mortality (even with reincarnation) to be much more consistent with there being no God, or only a limited form of God, rather than with the 'triple omni' Abrahamic God.

I'm glad that you topped it off with humans. I present to you other reasons that the human disproves a benevolent, wise, and powerful god. Consider how we breathe. We breathe through the same external orifice as we eat, making it possible for us to aspirate our food as we eat due to a critical failure of existence while eating, or laughter at a timely joke, or shock at a new outcome, or physically being shaken. Is this how it must be for all things that eat? No. Whales do not suffer this problem. Consider also the testicles. They hang external to our body for temperature regulation, but that exposes them to damage from environmental hazards or attacks by rivals. Is *this* strictly necessary? No. Male elephants' sperm glands are stored internally to their bodies. Consider also the eyes. We have blind spots. Capillaries are laid inside between the lens and the retina. The photoreceptive cells are oriented the wrong way. The brain has to do massive compensatory calculation in order to clean up the mess of our vision. It's a problem common to vertebrates, but is it strictly necessary? Nope! *Squids* have eyes that work the right way. As for the dangers of pregnancy, those are easily explained by competing selective pressures: Narrow hips promote efficient bipedal locomotion. Big heads promote brain capacity after birth. It just happens that the risk of dying during birth hasn't been enough of a selective pressure against the whole genetic composition to eventually cause one of them to give way over the other. _By the way, kangaroos can give birth to tiny joeys and then nurture them up to larger sizes in a pouch. No risk of death in pregnancy needed._

God in prisoned Satan in hell as we read in revelations, his demons are here on earth with us. Demons can go from hell to earth and vice versa, who is to say that if we were on a different planet that demons cant reach us there. Why would God allow demons to run rampit on earth? because they still have their free will. They chose that life along with Satan. God endowed both angels (demons are fallen angels) and men with free will, because in order to truely love there has to be a option. God wants us to come to him and not him forcing us to go to him. I want to start off by saying thank you from bottom of my heart for your videos. They helped me break free from manipulation that is the JW religion. When I believed as my JW parents had taught me, I truly believed with all my heart at that time that it was the “indisputable truth”. Being 3rd generation JW on my mom’s side and 4th generation JW on my dad’s side I had no choice but to be proud of family’s legacy at that time. My entire world since before I was born revolved around the Bible as they read it to me from inside the womb. I was never allowed to have “worldly friends”. So, it may come as no shock that despite the fact I had been disfellowshipped for nearly 9 years for being gay, even at that time I still believed and attended all the meetings. Desperately trying to change my sexual orientation so that I could regain my family and childhood friends, it never happened. Along the way I began realizing that that religion wasn’t for me about 4/5 years ago. So, I began seeing therapists to try and rid myself of the fear of that religion’s Armageddon. Even at that point of being fed up with JW religion I still could not bring myself to fully shake the belief that I thought it was “the true religion because of it’s quote scientific accuracy”. I’d made that comment to a friend and it was this atheist friend who sent me your videos on the subject Bible-flat-Earth, nearly 2 years ago. With that information among some others, I truly began to heal from the intense religious manipulation and cruel deception of approximately 90% of my life. With videos like yours along with some other scientist/atheists and or ex-Christians I am finally free of such indoctrination. Please continue to do the work you do. It truly matters and it’s helping people like me. It’s easy to get discouraged with how prevalent these unrealistic beliefs are in the world. Maybe one day we will evolve as a species and finally decide as a collective that we don’t need religion.

Why when you know we are the cause of a lot of suffering. If God is there he will likely say "and what is your part in the responsibility of the atrocities you saw when you have free will?". Thats what I would ask. Not like cancer didn't become more prevalent because we did a lot of nuclear testing and had melt downs. We released radiation, can't really be mad at God when you know you have the ability to course correct (free will) and then observed cause and effect leading to an unwanted outcome. Its literally our fault. I still believe organized religion is wrong, but I believe because we are said to gain self awareness from evolution, I can't for the life of me understand why it wouldn't do the same to a larger energy signature that is proven to exist. I actually think God honors free will to the point he actually lets stuff play out, because if he stepped in then you are asking to be controlled, he knows the importance of why you really don't want him to step in. He don't like slavery either. But yeah evolution is not selective, if we got self awareness from it, we can't say it stopped there. Otherwise evolution is wrong because it violates its own rules. Plus the conservation laws of thermodynamics says "energy is neither created or destroyed only converted", its an unavoidable law. So the electrical and chemical energy that comes upon death tells us it doesn't get destroyed, only converted. So nothingness is not an option, it never has because energy doesn't work that way, and it never will. I get why some get mad at the description of God according to the bible. He seems like an asshole, but he can exist outside of a religious dogma. I believe in God only, nothing else, because I can see that evolution should dictate there is a God. I am not comfortable with saying evolution is wrong and selectively choosing when to cite it when it suits my argument. It either works like that or it don't, I believe evolution is correct so I have to believe there is a God that is conscious, so I don't look like a hypocrite. And it really surprises me no one ever questioned that and wondered why evolution only pertains to Earth and nothing else.

Either its the best hide-and-go-seek player ever, or maybe........just maybe...gods are made up by people who just didn't know how they world worked and 'god did it' was their explanation for basically everything. You gotta admit, it's at least possible right?

The problem with the Giraffe is the problem with modern evolutionary theory. Its bases is "slow change over time, through random genetic mutations" independent of the one that came before and the one that comes after. A longer neck isn't exactly evolution either, its still just a neck. Its the system inside that matters. "It just is" isn't good enough, you need the how and why.

*"For No Good Reason"* If God created animals to live forever in the garden of Eden, why were they kicked out? To have to go from never knowing pain to now have to suffer disease, famine, injury, ect,... *A Horrific Punishment* If the only reason God did this was because 2 humans broke a rule, then he truly is a cruel thug God.

Everything in nature has to be balanced to function. Nothing lives forever and very few dies from old age. We are all part of the life and death cycle. Parasites , disasters, predators, plagues etc are necessary to keep the numbers in check, even for humans. It might not be good for the individual but it is good for the species and the survival of the ecosystem, the planet and the universe. Yes even the stars die. Managing and maintaining these systems to the point where your turtle needs a very specific environment to survive is a massive engineering feat. The process has been going on for billions of years and is still continuing. Try to explain these things to a human which just left the stone age. Read the Bible in the context for when and for whom it was written. The only part of the Bible written by God Himself was the Ten Commandments even that was written for a specific people at a specific time. If there were no ancient life forms there would have not been coal or oil today. Humans have reached the levels of knowledge over the last 2 or 3 centuries. Many more discoveries will be made in the future. But ask yourself with your independent mind: could all these things be accidental? With no purpose? I am sure with your knowledge of scripture you will understand that God chooses you and not the other way around.Faith is just that: You believe in things which you haven't seen. Oh brother what ever be your goal, keep your eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole.

I don't understand how they can think God would allow Satan to wander around and trick his creation. This is like a parent allowing a dangerous person into their house whom they know is dangerous and whom they know has a history of harming children and then blaming the children for getting harmed when the inevitable happens. That is what God does God is that irresponsible parent

his point was that most people who believe in a Abrahamic god think he is loving and kind and benevolent all knowing and all powerful, but there are so many things in the world that he created that cause misery to humans there for your any god cannot be a loving, kind, benevolent, all knowing and all powerful god. if he was loving, kind and benevolent then he would use his foresight (since he is all knowing) and his infinite power to removing suffering from his children he supposedly loves, and I will go so far as to point out if he really loves every single one of us humans then why doesn't he send us a clearer message saying he exists, why would a loving, kind, benevolent god create beings that he has to test and punish.

So basically your argument is, "God would be really mean if he really did make these animals"? Lol. Who's to say we even know what suffering really is, if there is in fact, a much greater reality in which our current understanding of suffering is perhaps much more benign than we perceive it. It's like children who get mad when they lose at a video game, their vision of reality is short-sighted. Therefore, if God does exist and did create these "awful" creatures, it's possible that our limited vision of how "evil" they are is off base without knowing the complete picture of reality outside of the lives we currently inhabit.

Like in “Maze runner” movie. cruelty on small set of people is to make the life of others happier. But this logic only work for beings with limited capabilities. Not meaningful for a supreme being who has so many options. Simplest things would be to tell it directly, at least via bible.

I'm grateful I'm finally free from the chains of religion and I greatly appreciate all your videos. Thank you for making them. And thank you for getting your messages across while always remaining respectful of all those still deeply rooted in religion, like my mom. They're still our family, just misguided. No reason to hate them. Please keep making videos. If you do I'll keep watching and sharing them, as I've already done with my brother, who's slowly opening his eyes to the falsehood of religion. @@mslice0760 On the contrary, Christians (or Theists, regardless of religion) often know much more about their own (previous) religion than those who remain faithful to it. Why? Because Atheists often have more cause to study religion. Why? Because after having been indoctrinated, leaving one's religion is often excruciatingly hard and come with devastating consequences. These people are often deeply morally conflicted and remain within their faith for literally years after their first seed of doubt. They have more cause than most to dive deep into scripture and study ways to dispell their own doubt. Only they often find the opposite . . . that they've been living a lie. So, I don't know who you are. Perhaps you're just woefully misinformed, but don't ever assume leaving one's indoctrinated faith is easy. It's often the most excruciatingly painful thing they've ever had to face. And when they quote scripture, they absolutely KNOW what they're talking about. So, please don't ever underestimate what we've had to go through or what we know.
