4:21 I’ve always struggled with shadow scapes- beautiful but I don’t don’t feel like I can read with it… but looking now I just feel like I could really use them for dreamwork

I’ve been wanting Margaret Peterson for *ever* now there is a new edition with the maroon borders and it’s not bad but I like the cream borders better I think. 27:25 this one too… with all the new ones coming out all the time I’ve gotten off track of the older decks that I love wanted to acquire

So helpful. You cover a number of decks here that have been on my wishlist for some time - and a few of those have now just jostled their way to the front! :) Thanks for such a thorough and thoughtful run-through.

Love these videos! BGT and Wild Unknown two of my ultimate favor flaves! Very interesting description of how each deck of those picks cracked ya open in different ways, inner child, soul, ect.

Well I KNOW that we have an equal love of BGT lol, half of my joy over the unboxing was that I was sending you pictures the whole time ;) :D :D :D

Love the thoughts on the Bohemian Gothic! Will def look at the shade and light spots, and secondary figures. I find this deck so funny too! And profound in getting a message across. Glad tarot of the Sidhe made it :) So agree that looking at it on the screen doesn't really do it. Working with it, makes such a difference. Cool video! PS. Thank you for the mention Kelly xxx

I apologize as I think I slaughtered your name o.O I am so wretched about that! And yes, definitely look to the background, I really think that is where the secrets lie with this deck as well as the light! OH do I love it :D I'm still thinking I'm going to trim my Tarot of the Sidhe after yours and Ania's!

Do it! It looks better! And it's easier to shuffle and use :) You didn't do too bad on my name actually. It's pronounced more like Kasha :) xx

You and I have very similar taste in tarot. Many of my top ten would be the same as you. Margarita Peterson I at the same emotional feel about it. Also the Mary El hit me on a deep level.

I love the old look Marseille Decks they have a lot that are too bright for me but yours is really cool. May I ask what publisher you got that deck from?
@TheTruthinStory8 жыл бұрын
It was a gift but it comes from Il Meneghello in Italy, it's called the Tarocco Di Marsiglia, Svizzera 1804 :) I also like the Ancient Italian Tarot by Lo Scarabeo for Marseille decks.

What's your opinion about incorporating astrology and tarot? I'm sure that astrology has its own setting in tarot as the elements and numerology. :3

Druidcraft is one I have on my wish list, part of it because it has that nice pagan element. Never gave much thought to the child Sun card thing. I have decks with it, and some decks without, and while I think I prefer without, I can live with the kid. I recently had a chance to see a Fountain Tarot deck in a shop. On the one hand, seemed a bit too abstract to me, but some of the cards reminded me of the work of Salvador Dali, and I happen to love Dali (so who knows, could end up in my collection some day). It is a beautiful deck overall. The Bohemian Gothic is just fascinating. Great choices and insights overall. Thanks for sharing. Paz y amor.

In your review of the Mary El tarot the cards have borders however in this video they have not. Did you cut them or is this another version? I currently have osho zentarot and I love its symbolism but these look very powerful indeed
@TheTruthinStory7 жыл бұрын
I cut them off :) What is interesting as the author of the deck did as well, she hadn't intended them to have borders :)
@MrN0207 жыл бұрын
The Truth in Story but still they do and now most people are using her creations with borders, ouch. Decision by the publisher? Shouldn't they like, respect the author's vision?

Well some of it was because I had no clue there were so many out there at that time, and some because by nature of a marriage I was in, it simply wasn't possible, once I was in a situation where it could explode... it did ;) LOL

+The Truth in Story I've been using the Osho Zen Tarot (my first deck) since 2010 until I was forced to get me another deck and though the images don't tell me that much, I learned that I seem to work very well with them (including the 79th card which you don't use). and now it's time for Lenormand and other decks because Osho Zen seems to get a little boring.

I love the Ravens Prophecy deck. It just hits me on an emotional level like no other deck. I realized while watching this vid why I put the tarot down for so many years. The classic rider waite. I so dislike that deck. To me it's just bereft of spirit, of anything, least of which is art.
