Fun fact: the Irish for "whiskey" is "uisce beatha", which directly translates to "the water of life"...the more you know! So of course, we sat down a number of our resident Irish People to see what they thought.

I think the font she was aghast at on that bottle of grain alcohol was actually called Clara? I used it on a cutesy invitation to a mock baby shower back when I was in high school. I loved playing with fonts and graphic layout and was always the one to set up invitations to events for our FFA chapter. .. someone shouldn't have let a kid play with the font on that lable though 🤮 EDIT: No, it was Christie !

That Paddy story inspired me. I want to buy a peanut farm, make peanut butter, and name the brand Dermot. And then send samples of all of my candies and peanut butter snacks to the Try Channel so they can all, especially Dermot, give their opinions on the taste of Dermot Peanut Butter snacks.

If I worked there, I'd have him shoot one of these videos and just have a jar of peanut butter there for him to look at. He'd probably be spending the whole shoot wondering when his old nemesis would finally make its presence known, then as the last part was about to start, I'd walk over to it (again, in full view), bring it over to the table...and put it away in a bag.

Winter in Milwaukee is the penance we pay for Summer in Milwaukee... Cream City is the city of festivals... There is a block party somewhere in the city every weekend plus festivals at the Summerfest grounds... Summerfest itself is the biggest music festival in the world... Honestly, the weather is not bad from late March through the end of December... We don't get -10° for a day time high most years... I've lived in a few places and I love this city...

I know the pandemic has been bad but for myself, 2008 was a really rough year. My mom passed away on Dec 24... my divorce was final on Dec 30. After the divorce hearing, my best friend and I went to his house. In all the confusion I hadn't given him his Christmas present. He really enjoyed Irish whisky and particularly Bushmills. When I gave him the wrapped bottle he tore it open. He thanked me and opened the bottle and grabbed a couple of highball glasses. We sit in his living room watching TV and drank that bottle of Bushmills. He said "you've had one helluva week brother"

I like how Dermot and Martin were the only 2 people properly drinking the whiskey. You sip the drink and not guzzle it down. No wonder the rest didn’t like the whiskeys. It is the same way with single malt scotch, you sip it slowly and it is so much better. I love your videos and look forward to seeing them 3 times a week. Thank you 😊
