28:10 this is an excellent jump-on point for my pov on this topic almost every JP studio outsources their animation to korean and chinese studios, and I would argue that is a major reason as to why this post covid era of anime is so flat and pastel and cheap and lacking I mean there are A LOT of issues with the industry, but this is one of the more obvious ones. no Avatar isn't an anime, anime goes much deeper than what the character design looks like, it's about how the frames work, it's about sets and backgrounds, it's about "camera" work. Everything about avatar screams western animation, with the occasional sweatbead or " 。。。。。" across the screen and no way is rwby an anime, I can't even bring myself to consider japanese cg "anime" to be actual anime, let alone a ps2 cutscene internet show.

My favorite parts about E3 were always when Todd would get up in his leather jacket snd slim-fit slacks and whisper to me his sweet little lies. I always fell for them.
