I have been working on my junk garden. Since I love salvaged wood I had to find a way to use some in my garden. I was inspired by a picture of a salvaged wood path I saw from Funky Junk Interiors. I used DIY Paint and JRV stencils to make it more me.

Great path. I love the found objects you included. In Charleston, SC we call them "fire ants". We usually see big mounds after rain. They bite and cause blisters.

I was born in Charleston. But moved way north when I was a young child. My mother still speaks of the fire ants in Charleston. I recently moved back south near Asheville, NC. I would love to experience Charleston again. But I definitely don't want to experience fire ants.

How well did the path do over the year? Did you remove it for winter? I love how yours turned out!

I left my out, but did not put enough coats of sealer for Michigan winters. I think if you sealed them correctly they would be fine.

@@paulabrett4681 This year I am going to use the new Cottage Colors all-in-one DIY Paint with topcoat. The paint is rated for exterior. I want to see how it works. Best of luck with your project.
