@26:51-- Poor Jeremy doesn't see the tragic irony in his rant about John Singleton being lauded as the "Black Jesus of the Moment." Does he not realize that the media has done the *exact* same thing to him? Out Magazine literally called him the "queer black savior the theater world needs." He'll never replicate the success of "Slave Play" and, like Singleton, he'll flame out as a one-hit wonder. Then the media will stop fawning over him, the high-powered "friends" he constantly name-drops will disappear, and the cycle will continue...

Um John singleton did not flame out, so relax. And he can enjoy his moment and be present cause nothing is promised but death

@@crush2be Singleton most certainly flamed out. Aside from "Baby Boy", he never came close to the critical or commercial success of "Boyz N The Hood." And his movies got progressively worse. Did you ever see "Abduction" with Taylor Lautner? Jesus.

@@roccoz2231 The last thing that Singleton did was Snowfall, which is both popular and critically acclaimed (and has been a starmaking vehicle for Damson Idris).
