It’s kind of like Michael’s song dirty Diana she sold her soul to the Motown/Barry Gordy dream, and sold her soul to the $?! I think not! I think Diane knew what she was doing all alog: she’s a very calculating person in my opinion only out for her best interest, as it is proved by her treatment of her, Florence Ballard, who actually started the girl group called the Priemetts. Her treatment of Florence Ballard is in my opinion. Unacceptable and highly disrespectful of Florence Ballard, talent and tenacity in setting up the whole Motown deal for the soon to be Supremes. this fact has been highly unregarded, and under reported which is despicable in my opinion. I fell in love with all of the original Supremes because singing together background or lead their music was just magical to hear. In the beginning Mary, Flo, and Diana looked like they were having fun but most of all happy. Diana has had her ups and downs but like Mary she kept going on. I'm so happy for Diana doing all these concerts in the past few years and I'm sure she is glad that at her age she can still perform to give her fans the taste of the past. I wish her nothing but the best for her and her family and be happy and healthy to continue to work as long as she wants. I never got to see the Supremes but I did see Ms., Ross in St. Paul many years ago.

Why make excuses? You can overcome anything. She is just like any human being on earth. Yet , she came from a working class family from the Brewster public housing. I grew up watching the supremes. Some of their songs I listened to. Also watched Diana performed, along with the supremes. Very successful group of all time. Record-hit making tunes topped the charts. I saw her part from the supremes on the Ed Sullivan Show. Very memorable at the time. She is very strong-willed. And has gotten through tough times as I sometimes come across certain documentaries of her life. So yes, she has worked hard for the money, because nothing is handed to you on a silver platter.
