Welcome to Pi's Nit-Picks where for personal reasons I go through new episodes of The Unexpectables and nit-pick it of any instance where how they play and RAW don't line up in a cinemasins-esque manner. Spoiler alert: because of how this works, I might have to go into spoiler territory but I'll try to be subtle about it. Disclaimer: I am not telling anyone how to play dungeons & dragons. It's their game, not mine. These are not criticisms, these are nit-picks. Yes I have heard of house rules, thanks for asking. Nit-Picks: 1:08:25 : The attack should’ve automatically missed as it’s targeting a creature beyond the weapon’s normal range underwater, or it should at the very least have disadvantage. 1:18:42 : The versatile trait on melee weapons can only be used when making a melee weapon attack. 1:22:52 : Task’s archery fighting style would’ve applied to these attack rolls. 1:31:29 : Greckles already used his action to cast mirror image, so he cannot take the attack action 1:47:28 : Remy cannot use second wind as he had already used his bonus action to drink a healing potion. 1:55:30 : Task should’ve rolled a concentration check for Hunter’s Mark. 2:00:17 : Remy cannot use Shield Master as he is not the only one being targeted by the harmful effect. 2:08:30 : Borky cannot throw three tridents as the additional attack he can make as a bonus action can only be used to make a melee weapon attack. 2:08:45: The additional damage added due to Rage only applies to melee weapon attacks. 2:38:10 : Greckles cannot use his bonus action to attack with Nick as the weapon he used is action to attack with lacks the light property. 2:57:00 : Remy cannot use War Magic more than once a turn as action surge doesn’t grant an additional bonus action. 3:08:10 : When in a contest that ties, The Unexpectables use the rule of thumb “aggressor wins” to resolve them while RAW states that “If [a] contest results in a tie, the situation remains the same as it was before the contest.” this rule would benefit a non-aggressor more often than an aggressor. 3:24:28 : A target doesn’t have to be dead in order to pass Hunter's Mark from it to a new target, it just has to be at 0 hit points.
