Biggest problem facing United in transfer window is going to be selling average players that are on super star wages. Unless Ineos is willing to take loses on many of these players there will be few out going players.

We only have 8 players on £200k or more. 5 of them will be going this summer, Casemiro, Varane, Sancho, Martial, and probably Antony. Martial & Varane are out of contract. Casemiro & Sancho we should get enough for them to break even. Antony is the problem one, we need to get £50m for him to not post a loss in the accounts and we aren't going to get that so we'll just have to suck it up and take the pain. Just getting rid of those 5 players reduces the wage bill by £75m (30% of our total wage bill), and reduces amortisation by £70m. That frees up a huge amount of FFP headroom. And there'll be at least 5 or 6 more players leaving on top of that. Players like Maguire, AWB, Lindelof, we might end up having to sub some of their wages if they leave but nobody said this was going to be easy, we've got ten years of damage to undo.

I think our summer transfer window will be a focus on defence and creativity. Frimpong tosin/todibo branthwaite Gutierrez With olise we can focus on rashford and amad being the back up strikers as I doubt we will have the budget to afford a striker then next summer we focus on a striker

IMO the reason why these players try to shoot from long range is that they are not good at passing. This will cause the opposing player to intercept the ball and continue to counter-attack and with defenders who cannot sprint, it will leave us exposed at the back. We need not only wingers who are good with the ball but almost all forwards.

Olise (£60m), Frimpong (£34m) and Guirassy (£17m) could be easier deals to do where people have release clauses. Rabiot on a free then Nice cutting us a deal on Todibo could have a £150m spend. Get some sales done and that's probably the best we could hope for. I don't really want Rabiot as he's another ageing mercenary but he's done well the last couple of years and is out of contract so who knows. If any of them fancy European football though....😂
