Great video! Everytime I see the OG I wish they kept the design of the field the same…the OG is just beautiful
@TheUnpersonАй бұрын
Yea I prefer it too!

I’ve been using your KO2 videos and learning a lot. It’s my go to for when I encounter a question. Great job!

The DNA engine is awesome! Love the noise OG-1 can make , and my DNA has total different graphic , so every OG-1 has unique DNA , amazing

Man, the OG-1 is seriously capable of some epic sounds. It just needs a good reverb and a good musician as yourself.
@TheUnpersonАй бұрын
It’s way more capable than I realised!

Just purchased! Absolutely unreal how much you made it sound just like a CS-80! I hope you make more OP1 content in the future because this was excellent. Were you syncing it up with your KOII? Sounded fantastic together.
@adder24882 ай бұрын
From his previous videos, Ally just sets them to the same speed and pushes play.
@elementlab41Ай бұрын
@@adder2488 Wow, even more impressive!

Hope you’re enjoying the presets! I do plan on doing some more OP1 stuff in the future. And yea I just match the bpm and (try) hit play in time!

I love the dark industrial character of preset #3. Very Blade Runner in an awesome way.

I feel that Vangelis synth sounds are the bar all others are judged by

Really nice. I still don’t understand why all synths don’t have a colour screen and that kind of interface. Not like the parts are expensive.
@TheUnpersonАй бұрын
Yea they really nailed the design and workflow!

Dude, when you kicked in that 2nd delay on that 8 bit oscillator, I was blown away. You are so good at sound design.
@TheUnpersonАй бұрын
Double delay for the win!! 😃

everything sounds cool Ally. Curious to know what mixer you're using for the OPZ and EP33 there. Know its not the Chroma Console in picture...

Thank you! I’m using the Zoom L12 which has 12 inputs and doubles as an interface :)

@@TheUnperson ah, thanks man. cool vids as per usual.

@@TheUnperson I think your current studio setup might make a great upcoming vid on your channel as many budding electronic music enthusiasts (like myself lol) are also keen on the many connection and mixing options available for eurorack and other home synths. Just something to think about. Thanks again mate! Love your channel!

I think Dr.Wave is a wavetable emulation on 8 bit.
@TheUnpersonАй бұрын
That makes sense!

lovemthe OPs, but in all honestly the external FX are pulling a lot of weight. theres not enough stereo action in the op FX.
@TheUnpersonАй бұрын
Agreed! It’s why I really want the OP1 field, but can’t justify that price tag!
@malikdavis60912 ай бұрын
i might have to use this for the sequencer and pair it with my Hydrasynth Explorer.
