Homeless Man Says "Two Of My Friends Died On The Streets"

We met David in Ilford sitting outside a mini supermarket. It was a really cold day and in the past few nights the temperature had fallen below zero. David told us how difficult it was for him and his friends to survive through the winter. Every moment of this interview is filled with valuable words that we can all learn from. The value of family is real. Nothing is more valuable than having your house with a loving family in it. We believe someone like David could be a real asset to an employer.

Homelessness is a growing issue for the UK with more than 300,000 people living on the streets. Many of these people don't even make it onto the official figures.
The Unseen is an organisation we set up to give Homeless people a platform to have their stories and their struggles heard. We also want everyday people to have an opportunity to understand what leads a person into being Homeless. We at the The Unseen believe that everybody has a responsibility to help the unfortunate.
We want employers and regular people to support the homeless towards getting back into work and off the streets.
We hope their stories can touch the hearts of many.

It's so easy to end up on the streets . I spent two months living rough and if I can't get somewhere to live by next Monday I will back on the streets . I'm 50 year old woman . It's tough being alone . God bless this man .

Love his honesty, he looks ill bless him, he's not begging or asking, he just wants respect, every human deserves respect, to all the people who are unkind to the homless don't hurt them, they are being punished enough by never having anything to call there own.
