Spiti valley located in the bowl of Himalayan ranges is not only spectacular and majestic in its splendour but is also blessed with heritage culture. Very true...the Himalayan ranges, once were an ocean habitated by marine life.. It was a past. Now Spiti valley is habitated sparsely by hamlets of thinly populated diaspora. Nevertheless, attitude of spitians towards enjoying life is starkly visible when they not only enjoy chham festival celebrations but also protect rich legacy of their religion.Beautiful.. Abhishek..

Spiti is a beautiful place and I am so glad to see it again and being permanently captured by TUS in the best way. The lines at the beginning are so amazing. And what you said is so so true…we are blessed to be a part of this Beautiful country. Hikkim village, Cham festival, culture of that place…TUS always shows that there is more to the place than just touch & go! Thermal heating system, bringing the old traditional systems back, is so important for Spiti to not loose its charm! Beautifullly captured ..looking forward to the Spiti serious. lovely coverage as always. But a comment abt ur statement on Hikkim "Ppl are just interested in the selfie with the post office". Ironically, you go on to say that "i would have loved to stay here, walk thru, made a promise that i will come back and spend time etc". Doesnt that mean that you just did what everyone else does ? :-) Many ppl visit a place, move on quickly due to a lack of time in their plan for that place, make a promise to come back ...
