My personal favorite in this video is Grong.. move over Uhk'loc.. there's a new sheriff in town. I'm sad that Grong the Revenant is only available to Alliance, but hopefully they'll give us another way to tame it. I tamed the Iron War Wolf back during the WoD expansion and named him Hibachi. Char-grilled many a fine meal on his back armor.

I still love my Shadow croaker, easily the best color combo of the mystic gulper models imo. And I love the hunt for it really makes you feel like well, a hunter! Tricky yet not too hard tame where you have to use Track Hidden, Flares, and knowing where to look.

One thing to note about the Fetid Devourer tame: if you're not quick about it after the successful tame, the door will close behind you. Since there's technically no boss left in the room to kill, there's nothing to trigger the door to re-open and you'll have to port or stone your way out. (unless I'm wrong and completely missed a lever or something when I did this tame a few weeks ago)

Yeah, taming Fetid soft locks the instance. That's a big oversight that I'm hoping Blizzard will fix in the near future. Was Fetid your favorite from the video? And thank you for the call out, that's something I should have mentioned in the video.

@@MrEggplant At the time I saw the video, Fetid was the only one I'd previously tamed! Since then I have gone through and tamed zombie Grong! ... which ALSO soft locks the instance!

@@ShierakQiya It's so weird that that was overlooked. I usually go for GMOD runs, but every time a hunter keeps us locked in their for good LOL! I'm going to have a new pet tame video out soon!

Love your videos man the cloud serpent pet seems wildly difficult I remember trying to farm the mount. I got Fetid, Umdead Grong, Tzala and now I want to get Loqe but that one seems pretty difficult to get

The main reason it's hard to get is because it drops an item that awards a mount.. People need da mounts!!! I can help you with Loque if you want to group up sometime soon :) guarantee you that I can find it!

The one thing I wish Blizzard would change about the pets, is that they would keep their size or at least the majority of their sizes. I think it would be badass if the pets were bigger than the players.

Yeah I know a few people that have. It's an amazing pet and I'm pretty sure they touched Grong up before making him tamable. I could be wrong, but his fur looks to be much better looking than I remembered.

Sadly, the only way your forsaken could get Grong the Revenant is if you faction change and then tame and faction change back :/ you can't cross faction that raid.

They should allow us to keep our pets cross realms. I have a shit ton of rare pets on my alliance hunter and my horse hunter has like4 good ones and now I have to go and hunt for all again

For grong, now that we have cross faction groups for raid, who that works? Does it simply put you on different ins/raid instances even though they're on the same group?

This should be one of the only raids that's still faction locked. To my knowledge, you cannot enter the same raid instance with the opposite faction. You'll essentially be in two different raids.

Nope, not currently. The only way is to faction change, tame it and then change back. I hope they'll give both factions the opportunity to tame the opposite one soon.

That's a great call out! I didn't think about going into LFR to get Fetid and Grong! That would allow you to easily get 2 if you wanted to, with out soft locking the raid. Thank you for sharing that information!
