Well there's a couple of factors being overlooked here. The Eagles still have to play the Skins and Vikings still have to play GB. Those are not cake walk games. So what happens if both Eagles and Vikings lose those games? All these scenarios assumes that the Vikings and Eagles keep winning. So I'd say we need to calm down and let the season play out. If the Vikings lose to GB. Detroit would win the division pending they beat Bears. So I'd say start there first. My question what would happen if Vikings, Lions, and Eagles end up with the same record. All going, 2-1 down the stretch. So 3 and 0 may not be necessary.

YES! A first round bye is critical. Not only would it give the Lions needed rest and secure home field advantage but also ware out other NFC teams. Also, a Philly and a Minnesota loss would help out tremendously too. We could rest some guys vs. the Vikings

I have a good feeling about the Commanders and Seahawks this weekend. Jayden Daniels is explosive, has game experience against the Eagles and he's at home. As for the Seahawks, they're going to compete hard, especially after the Packers win temporarily knocked them out of the Playoff picture. Seahawks need every game if they're going to keep pace with the Rams.

I do, I do believe the #1 seed is the only pathway. We need to hope someone like Atlanta or the Washington win to play us in the divisional round, teams we can beat with injuries. Then we have to hope in the NFC championship it isn't the Eagles or the Vikings or the Packers. We need to hope that someone like Tampa Bay somehow wins out, a team who also had the injury bug for us to go to the superbowl. If we face Vikings or Packers in the divisional round, we will be one and done. Yes the injuries are that bad, that we need to hope less competitive playoff teams get lucky to knock those teams.

How dumb are you? This is a once in a lifetime injury bug the Lions have gotten this year after being almost fully healthy last year. We need to get the 1 seed to have a bye and play 2 games at home in the playoffs to max our Super Bowl odds. We do not want to play in Philly, I am not scared of Philly they are a great team and you would much rather play them at home instead of outdoors in January.

The number one seed is not going to happen. Buffalo gave the NFL the blueprint on how to deal with the Lions their biggest problem is linebacking they literally were three yards away from almost every receiver that was in their area. They look confused and ill-prepared. I love Dan but as far as the prep for the Buffalo game he was totally out coached. I'm not talking about Josh Allen and his Wizardry. I'm talking simple plays that McDermott saw they would have problems with. He exploited them to the utmost Advantage for him. And he's one of the guys that I kind of worry about late in games and decisions
