After the past 8 years, this episode is still one of my personal favourites. It's concepts are not only genius but are fully utilised like the tiny Tardis in this scene. Flatline is also just really bloody funny and enjoyable to watch. Definitely want to see more episodes like it in RTD 2.

@@BlackRoseRhamnous Incorrect. Watch Under The Lake. There was certainly no threat to the Tardis when the Cloister Bell went off. Recent DW series overuse the bell and they should be using the “imminent doom tone” trope like once every blue moon.

2:09 I love this moment. When he spots the train and the music kicks in, you can feel the dread. Is the TARDIS even going to survive this? There's no power left, no options, it's been bled dry of all its primary defenses and is in an incredibly vulnerable state. Not enough power! lol jk just move it with your hand

The Dream Crabs were literal nightmares to me. They have the softest way yet horrifying way to eat your brain painlessly by trapping you in multiple dreams that will soon turn into a nightmare once it reaches your subconscious that has been trying to warn you and protect you. Truly terrifying and overlooked ennemies.

3:10 The sudden hair loss! Twelve's head hair was as temperamental as Eleven's eyebrow hair! As good as this episode was I can't help but remember it most for the glaring continuity error of Capaldi's hair. Presumably as a result of these subsequent scenes (up until the ending outside at the railway tracks) being filmed much later and/or re-shot (probably around the time of the finale whereupon Capaldi's hair was noticeably shorter compared to previous). I wonder why they had to do it this way and ever actually considered doing anything about the hair discrepancy? A wig for example? It's hardly an episode-ruining error but is a shame it happened during such an otherwise good one.
