quantity bdhne se revenue bdhega bcz quantity jitni jyaada available hogi utni jyaada sale kr paayenge isliye or agr price bdha denge to kya pta ki sbhi log purchase hi kre isliye same price me bechenge but jyada bechenge to revenue bdhega for an example .... aap ek shop me gye wahaa se aapne levis ki jeans purchase kri 2200/- me or same chz aap dusri shop me 2500/- ki mil rhi hai to aap 2200/- hi khridenge so price same ho kr quantity bdhega to revenue bdhega. and Sir aap explain bht accha krte hai thank you so much sir for your videos

agar apki sales price bdhane ke bd bhi kam nhi ho rhi hai to iska mtlb hai ki apki brand value zyda hai log bdhe hue price pr bhi apka maal kharidne chah rhe hain so is se apki sales pr bhi directly koi frk nhi pdegaa or revenue bhi bdh jayga

I would say that it depends on the business. It could be both or either one depending on the Economic factor of that business. If the demand is highly elastic, a price increase might lead to a significant drop in quantity demanded. And if the demand is inelastic, the business might successfully increase both price and quantity. We can also look for the equilibrium of Price and Quantity.

High qty sale bcz of high demand in the market of that product High price means margin profit increased and raw materials and other production cost decreases so high pice is favorable.

From my opinion Revenue increases with increasing quantity is best because = " When a company increase their position -- also increases in market share. When a company have a high market share -- it builds trust, When the company build trust -- it creates brand value, And brand value companies have price power in their hand."

My answer- quantity 1) Increasing price is not a sustainable option for long term, it will attract competition 2) Increasing quantity actually shows demand and growth in customer base

It depends upon the price elasticity of the product. If by increasing price the demand is same then I believe it's better as we didn't have to increase our manufacturing capabilities and got more profit. This also gives us the option to invest in sales and manufacturing and later increase sales too. If our sales increase first then price elasticity may not favour increase in price.

Parth bhai this is my view, See it is very subjective and it depends on company focus at that time, if co. want to compromise on gross margin then revenue will be volume driver, if they want GM% positive then price will be key drivers, as per me Price is important driver for revenue generation, because if my company is able to generate revenue by selling higher in the market it indicates below points - 1. People are ready to buy my product/services at higher price results into high GP 2. As their is no shrink in demand despite of increased price means i have brand pull in the market 3.My OM,GM,GP,GMV/NMV will be healthy if price is higher, 4. There are other factors as well product/service quality, less complains, etc.

Sir my answer would be qty, because I think that qty should increase which would indicate capturing market either from existing players or by attracting new customers/clients. So in the long run if the qty inc then the unit economics will be in their favour also giving a cost advantage to the company.

Both can be favorable for the business, if our product gets some exceptional or unique feature so we increase with price will be favorable for the company as now they dont have to spend on client acquisition, but if will are dealing in homogenous product then the increase in quantity will be considered as the best source of increasing revenue as the market share of the company is increasing which also help the company to cross sell.

qty just because when we increase the price it negatively impacts on customers' mindset. but when we deal with customers we increase in demand/qty so that we can make the largest customer base.. it should be beneficiary in the pandemic situation or in the recessionary phase... also it depends upon B2B and Industry to Industry it may be passive/active personality of promoters...

I found one mistake in the question bank, In Chapter no 8, Case study 2, question no. 3, Expected revenue value is 9,500 it should be 9,350 as per the solution you provide. So if you could change it, will be very helpful for other.

Sir, quantity increase karke profit kamana better hai. As it reaches a wide number of people, the brand will be known to all, b'cas it is less expensive, then automatically word of mouth. Once our brand gets known to many then obviously we can start the 2nd product line too or variety in same product line.

To choose between price inc or quantity inc , is very subjective as per the business module and environment. Eg: for luxury product inc in price . For paint , increase in quantity make more sense cos paint dont value much for an individual any paint for less/decent price bhi chalega.... Therefore i will wish to inc quantity of sales to be increased

I think increasing sale by selling more quantity would be my first priority so that I can reach to more number of customers, take their feedbacks and bring constant improvement in my products so that I can reach that level where at later stage, even if I increase my product price, people will be willing to buy at such higher rates because of the quality I'm delivering and the kind of trust I have gained. So first by increasing selling quantity and then by price ❤

Sir i have aquestion regarding Case 2 question no 3 I think the answer should be 4689lakhs In the explanation below estimated revenue is taken 9350 but 9500 is mentioned in the question also the ebitda margin is taken 49.26 it should be 49.36 then EBITDA for 2xx8 will be 4689 And lastly I must say coming from a non commerce background u are no more than an angel for me!! Because, 1.Increasing sales volume is often the preferred strategy for sustained revenue growth as it expands market reach, attracts new customers, and fosters long-term business sustainability compared to increasing prices, which may lead to customer backlash and competitive challenges. 2.Increasing prices can provide a short-term boost to revenue, it carries risks such as potential backlash from customers, competitive pressures, and market saturation. In my opinion the main thing we can consider that would be Quantity however i have strong guts to explain it in today's competitive environment increasing price would not be a better idea to generate more revenue unless we have a strong brand and well established organization like apple Indian people are so sensitive towards the price they only want to know the price without having seen the product quality.they dont even think to switch to another company. Conclusion -- we should focus on quality and volume of sales That's a good point to increase revenue.❤

initially ans should be quantity because inc goods will result in more sales while the price is same for good also keep in mind the demand factor in the market. On the other hand, if you inc the price while demand is the same, this can fetch you more profit only for a shorter time since customer will look for substitutes.

When you are a monopolist in the market then increasing price would be a favorable factor and when the company is at it's early stages of development or even at mid level, then it is good for it to sell more as more sales leads to increased sales turnover and also increase in production can help the company to procure the raw materials at a lesser cost, hence being profitable in the long run and giving a chance to expand themselves geographically. Hence, increase in price will work only until a competitor doesn't enter the market but increase in quantity with the same quality will always be helpful.

Revenue increase resulting from increase in quantity is a better indicator of the performance of the company because increase in price depends either on pricing power of the company or market forces of supply and demand, both of which will not indicate whether the company has successfully attracted new or additional sales, but increase in quantity of sales indicates that the company has shown improved performance in its core business which is indicated by more number of customers buying its products or existing customers buying more of its products. Therefore a revenue increase from increase in quantity of sales is more favourable as it confirms that a that the growth is not driven by exploiting either pricing power or temporary fluctuations in demand but rather on core performance of the business.

Accoriding to me , The increase in quantity sold is more favourable cuz, 1 - Price increase can be due to any economic factors or regulations and not due to pricing power of co. thus the increase price would not be sustainable. 2 - Price increase can lead to stagnant growth in long term ex- DMART . so, its better not to play at price. Sales Quantity increase can be more favourable as it can reach to more consumers , more reach more profits.

An increase in Qty would be favorable because increase in prices (in most of the cases) can erode your market share especially if you are in a commodity business. Try to increase the Qty to gain more market share and to have more control over the prices

okay so my explanation is , if i am getting more revenue through increase in price, and quantity is same (assumption), then it means that my existing customers are ready to pay more for the same quantity. So definitely, it's a plus point for me. For ex- i like burgers very much, and currently i have to pay 100 rupees to get one burger, but some days later food outlet increased the price of burger to 200 rupees but it isn't affecting me that much cause i love burgers very much. (assumed that the food outlet selling burgers is in monopoly)

Quantity and price both because if revenue increased by quantity than it means,a company is selling their products to more consumers then before and if revenue increased by price than it means that, product's quality has been improved.... So, i think both aspect are important..

Sir the more efficient way to increase revenue is to increase qty. As by increase quantity we increase our customer base and more number of customer try our product is important. Later on seeing demand we can opt for another way i.e. by increasing prices.

Increase in income dew to increase in volume is much preferable because it shows that we have reached new customers while maintaining the old customer..it necessarily not be the exact case....but most of the good businesses it is...and it also shows that the product is good..we have well goodwill maintained..and out marketing and sales is also good But having a mix of price and volume is better because in that way we are getting to know that if we raise the price by a bit.. people are still opting for the proudct or service...which shows that brand loyalty is there for the product But

Revenue increased by Increase in quantity sold is preferable because More Quantity sold = More Demand, which create a positive sentiment of a business. whereas Revenue increased due to increase in Price may be because of increase in Company's Cost of production or some other reason.

Both price and quantity plays a vital role in any business but when we sold more quantity it means we are selling a lot of goods and getting higher revenue but when we say we increase price then we get higher profit because we have same inventory cost but a higher profit in each item we sold.

Increasing revenue by increasing quantity is better. If the company has strong pricing power due to its brand loyalty or due to product differentiation, then it can increase the prices to hike up its margins. Otherwise, it might decline the customer base.

I think inc in revenue due to inc qty is more beneficial for the company as high sales in qty determines that the customers liked the product which would further inc the chance of growth of sales whereas inc in revenue due to inc in price is temporary because in a price sensitive market like India anyone who offers product at discount could easily take the market share only way to counter is by providing an exceptional product or service.

In my opinion..... If by increasing price then also revenue is increasing consistently, it means product got some real value and loyal consumer that they didn't affect purchase after being costly just like Apple smartphones. Quantity increase kr k revenue to badha lenge but profit margin same rhegaa... So increasing price is more profitable if it aquire consumer with significantly growth...

In most cases increment in Quantity i.e. increment in market share is more beneficial for the company rather than increment in the price (as price is one of the key factors in decision making therefore even a little increment may cause some negative impact in the overall sales)

An increase in Revenue due to an increase in quantity is better because it is due to the sale of products to either new people or we are getting more retention or it might be because of both so in the former scenario if new people are coming in this would help our company to grow more as more people will get to know about our product and then that will lead to more sales in future and a brand building as well by continuously seeing that product or if our retention is increasing that it shows that people are showing trust in and are liking our products. A revenue increase due to a price increase is not better than an increase in quantity because a price increase will not increase our market share it will only increase our revenues with almost the similar increase in pace as our expense so there would not be much of an increase to the profit as well.

Quantity because quantity increases the market share of a company and it can bring awareness in remote villages also. Most of the people will know abt the product, word of mouth increases.

Quantity se badha hua SALES better hai kyuki Company ke liye probably customers increase ho rahe hai. This shows Product of the company is acceptable and liked by Consumers.

ham yha pe cases lenge case 1: price increase that's why revenue increases agar aaj maggie 2 rs bhi jayda mhengi ho jaati hai toh usko lene wale kaam hai ,india ek price sensitive country hai same cheez jo saste me dega wo use choose karenge toh yeh kaafi kaam chances hai ki price badhaya toh revenue badha case 2: Quantity increases that's why revenue increases agar competitive market mai toh usme kam margin hai toh ham jayda quanity me selling karke profit badha sakte hai jisse revenue bhot tezi se badhega as compare to prices

Sir, mere perspective se price Jada important rather than quantity because agar main Jada price karke bhi revenue grow kar paa Raha hoon toh then it only means ki I have that competitive edge over my peers and my Target audience is ready to pay that extra premium for my product, which is good for a company.

Increase in Quantity is better. It indicates there is demand for your product. Most importantly it tells increase in Market share for your product which is a good sign for any business. Im leaving the Price concern there are alot many things that need to addresses when we say Price

Quantity because then company is making market in market and after sometimes if you raise price too due to economiy people will still understand and you will still hold market percentage

Company will want to increase price and quantity both to increase revenue but it is very difficult so company will sell more quantity at discount. For example burger king sells 1 burger at 40 rupees and 3 burger at 100 rupees. Benefiting from higher price is favourable in monopoly or duopoly market.

I think raise in quantity will be better than raise in price in order to increase the revenue within a company as raise in quantity is more substantially feasible as compared to raise in price.
