I love your videos and your family is precious ! Fa'afetai tele lava. I'm sorry about your gout. I have managed gout. Drink alot of water and have a "urinal" type of bottle handy in your car for when restroom facilities are not close by. Stress, sugar, chocolate, junk food like chips, not resting enough and being overweight can all contribute to gout. Know the dietary food triggers such as legumes (beans, peas) red meat, alcohol, shell fish, organ meat (hot dogs, spam, turkey tail) can all trigger. Using crutches is a great aid. Some food items also to watch and avoid are spinach, peas, cauliflower, peanuts, turkey, pork, sardines, pilikaki, pisupo, shrimp, steak, soda, asparagus, mamoe, lobster, bacon, anchovies, even fish, basically a lot of food Poly Pacific Islanders love to eat. I got tired of having gout flare ups that I decided to take into my own hands things that I could control like diet, and exercise. Only chicken is what I stick to now for meat, and carrots, broccoli, and corn are my non trigger meats and veggies. Fuji Apples for fiber as well are great. Prednisone, Colchicine, Indomethacin have all worked for me, Allopurinol has not. There is another new medicine out Febuxostat that I have not tried that is on the market. A lot of "Polys" have gout and I wish you well. Your baked goods look so "bomb" and I would love to buy and eat some were I to be in your area.
