I respect that ypu did this 3 years ago when it wasn't viral. I'm 80ties kid, I grew up with this, but Stranger Things brought it to 21st century level. Did you know that Kate Bush earns million dollars per month now, only from Spotify due to Stranger Things popularity and that she's the sole owner of music, song and licensing rights which made this an unexpected mailbox money for a 1985. song. I hope it will do some good for your channel too cause this is an excellent cover.

I thank you, Ellevator, for concurring with my appreciation. A guitar player who knows how to "Court and Spark" a voice on a subtle feel of tone is rare in a recording studio. Yes, I reference here Joni Mitchell --a much loved songstress. "Car on a hill" from that particular album comes to mind. Guitarist and songstress in artful dance of tone are a rarity in a same recording session. Again, I say with much appreciation for Ellevator in this masterful tone in recording Kate Bush's "Running up that hill".

This song has a very strange connection to me. When I'm listening I am overwhelmed by nostalgia, memories, sadness and I get a twitchy feeling in my stomach. I might like this even more than the original. I’m a guitarist, so I really like the prominence, dissonance and ringing out in this version. I've listened to 50s to 80s songs since I was 11, it's funny that when I was 15 my classmates asked what was I listening to and I said "running up that hill by Kate Bush... it's a song from the 80s" and I was made fun of for being "old fashion" and "grandma" but I love it that old songs are getting recognition now, 70s to 80s song are always the bestest.
