I am curious. What status you guys have with marriot? Do you guys try to see if they upgrade you guys to an overwater room? Do they where sold out of overwater room?

Hi Samuel. 👋 Thank you for watching! We have a Platinum status with our Marriot. We originally booked a cottage. When we asked about the Overwater Bungalow, they said it was fully booked on the dates we were staying. Hope that helps! 😊

Thanks for a funny and informative video. Watching it solidified our plan to book this property in our upcoming trip. Affordable Luxury is an underrated keyword. This mid-range tier is often overlooked, especially in Maldives. We were scared of $700+/night (all in) prices of many of the resorts due to transfers, food, room, etc., but there are a few great gems like this one. Local stays are more affordable options, but that's a bit too "budget" and doesn't fit our image of a Maldivian vacation. Still, compared to $300/night luxury stays in Dubai & Abu Dhabi (on the way), Maldives is pretty expensive. That said, it's a rare chance an American get to go here so we have to live it up. 😅 Anyway, thanks for a great video. You've got another subscriber and we're looking forward to watching more of your videos.

Realistically though, this vacation can easily reach $700+ per night when you factor in transfers, food, accommodations, and more. However, as you mentioned, there are some hidden gems that offer amazing value for money such as Sheraton. A luxury without breaking the bank! While local stays can be a more budget-friendly option, they may not provide the quintessential Maldivian experience that many of us travelers dream of. And Maldives may seem quite expensive, it is worth it to splurge at least on your first trip! This is one of the worst resorts in Maldives and we had really very bad experience in this resort since it’s very close by we booked this resort but had one of the worst holiday experiences,there lots of other resorts please do select them and please don’t select this waste resort,
