In my film, an actor has a prosthetic mask glued onto his face but and there's a noticeable line wear the mask ends and his face begins. I was going to use liquid latex to cover it but I didn't get time. Is there a way I can cover it up on After Effects?

Yes, but why the fixation in using Mocha to track? I find even the free version of Mocha in After Effects impossible to use as the “toothpicks and dental floss” spline creation is ugly & counter intuitive. It is high time a Mocha/ AE tracking alternative were made available, & the speed in which Christopher Vranos’ Lockdown is developing suggests this may be it.

Hmm I think it's good to be mindful of explaining every single step. You might forget after much experience with After Effects, where to begin with teaching and that's why it's an unclear tutorial for beginners. Sorry for the feedback, wish I was able to understand better.

Funny how most of the tutorials about this are done with almost pristine footage. Without focus change, nice and smooth skin and all that. Now go and try to do it with a piece of footage with blurry parts, the person moving too much slow and faster, illumination change and all that crap that make it a painful job.

This thing is a joke. The install instructions don't work with the 2022 version. The face tracking takes over 6 hours on 5 mins of go pro footage. Then the license thing always pops up - even after you validate successfully. Finally the apply button does nothing in AE 2022. Total waste of time / money IMO.

Please check these solutions if you are having activation problems: motionbro.net/help/extension-troubleshooting/problems-activating-a-preset-package-motion-bro-3-x-x/ As for the long tracking time: the plugin is not a standalone tracker, but only uses the tracking data that After Effects creates. That is, the problem you describe is directly related to After Effects, and not to the plugin. To solve this problem, try to cut your video into several fragments, for example, 20-30 seconds each and then track each of them.
