Something seemed off about the timing of it all. Then, when she announced the separation, it all clicked. THAT was why she was taking the time off and relocating to the sober house -- she needed to be isolated with her thoughts, and ONLY her thoughts. No one blowing up her phone, no one interjecting their opinion as hers, no one influencing her next move. Got her ducks in a row and got out of that relationship.
