I have loved Mandy Moore since her teen pop days in 1999. Her musical talent is so underrated. Im always thrilled for her success in acting and just remaining true to herself.

Polanski was not guilty of 'rape-rape', says Whoopi Goldberg 'We're a different kind of society, we see things differently, in Hollywood' actor says in defence of Roman Polanski Hollywood has rallied behind Roman Polanski after his arrest in Switzerland over the weekend for the rape of a 14 year old, with the actor Whoopi Goldberg suggesting that whatever he was guilty of it wasn't "rape-rape". As a speaker on The View chatshow on US television, she said: "I know it wasn't rape-rape. It was something else but I don't believe it was rape-rape. He went to jail and when they let him out he was like, 'You know what, this guy's going to give me a hundred years in jail. I'm not staying.' So that's why he left." Later in the programme, she added: "We're a different kind of society in Hollywood, we see things differently ... would I want my 14-year-old having sex with somebody? Not necessarily, no." This was the response from many female and some male bloggers was swift and furious. On the Jezebel celebrity website , Lindsay wrote: "We learned about Whoopi's strange and fascinating moral universe, which includes the concept of "rape-rape." This is not the first time she has gone into bat for a Pedophile and she is still allowed to work. On The Frisky Amelia McDonnell-Parry wrote: "Whoopi Goldberg, who I never expected to be a rape apologist, coins a term I've never heard before - 'rape-rape' .

I feel so old. I remember the day that Candy premiered on Nickelodeon. I was a pre-teen at the time. I overlook Mandy but she has some good songs and starred in great movies like Saved. She has such a career resurgence with TIU which I turn on when I need a good cry.

I've been wanting Mandy to do Broadway for a long freaking time!!!!! She's sooooooo talented. Hoping she gets to do it soon. I know she initially got offered to be "Jenna" in Waitress but turned it down due to THIS IS US. I would love to see her do "Roxie" in Chicago!!!!

Wow, that's so interesting, because as I watched this, she reminded me, a bit, of a more outgoing version of Keri Russell -- who, of course, played the lead role in the original movie "Waitress," which is terrific if you haven't seen it.

She did Dr. Death (Season 2) on Peacock, while Alec Baldwin did Season 1. One time for Halloween, she dressed up as the Alec Baldwin character from the movie "Beetlejuice". Mr. Baldwin hosted the "Match Game" on ABC Primetime from 2016-2021. What if she were to be the next host of the "Match Game"?
