My husband walked in while I was listening and laughing at the "extra effort" glitter smear test story so I played that back so he could see what was so funny. He laughed and said it brought back a funny story of my own about a certain Gyno story. What we women endure in the effort to stay healthy. As I drove to the Gyno I reflected on my age and satisfied that reaching my 50's didn't "feel old" at all. The appt went well and I quickly got dressed to get back to work. The office was quite large with a corridor of waiting rooms, a large lobby and a checkout desk. The people waiting giving me confidence from all the smiles I was getting as I made my way to the exit. I walked down the stairs and out the door catching glimpses from more smiles when I thought "see, I still have it." Feeling pretty fine about myself I walked to the parking lot, opened the car door and as a went to sit I pulled my skirt underneath me. I was humbled and mortified when I realised my skirt was tucked inside my underwear from the back exposing my entire backside. I tried to act cool with as much humour as I could muster driving sheepishly back to my office. Now I'm equipped with a hilarious embarrassing moment to pull out of my pocket to cheer someone up needing a bit of comic relief.

That horse in the photo is Burmese. He was her favorite horse of all she ever owned, and was a gift from the RCMP stables where they bred their own horses for the Musical Ride and their own mounted duties. She was riding Burmese when that gun was shot, and it was his no-panic training that helped her keep her seat. Even though that gun was loaded with blanks, had she been thrown onto tarmac with only her uniform hat, not a protective helmet, she could well have been killed or left a basket case for life. She stopped riding for the Trooping of the Colour after Burmese retired, and when he died she had a life-size bronze sculpture of him made for the gardens at Windsor. Very elegant it is, too. P.S. Blue suede shoes: Yes! P.P.S Fergie movie: No! P.P.P.S. Kettle Lightly Salted: Yes! (Happily, they are my favorite. And there is no such thing as just one little dish.) P.P.P.P.S. Prince Louis: Yes! THAT’S the only problem? I envy those who don’t remember her whining on Oprah years ago. I just finished the Gyles Brandreth book on Elizabeth II and there was a cute vignette about Andrew going off on the audacity of Harry & Rachel on Oprah and HMTQ replied, ‘I don’t recall your outrage when Sarah was on there, years back.’ Gotta love her late Majesty’s quick wit💓💕

You are a delight Shauna and really lift the spirits! I especially love the fact you don't take yourself so deadly seriously. You asked for some feedback to a lot of questions.....I'll respond to a few; I love the Trooping period of every year and, having grown up under our very young, beautiful Queen Elizabeth who appeared on our screens before every movie and had us on our feet singing God Save The Queen, I will always anticipate the joy of the annual King's Birthday Celebrations whilst I envy my family members still living in London and watching it as it happens. As for those Art defacing jerks ....they are indeed d**#-heads and should spend time in prison for their damage to state property and blatant vandalism.....bring back the stocks I say......does that give my age away too much? As for Sarah Ferguson.....well why on earth would we watch a movie of her life when we've had blow-by-blow accounts of all her escapades within hours of her enacting them? 😳

Hi Shawna, When I was little, I had in my life a wonderful woman who so reminds me of you. She was always a bright spot in my day and would blow me kisses just like you do at the end of your Gossip Before Bed. On day; my daughter and I were watching your show and it was almost at the end and she went to switch it off. “No, no!” I yelled. “ I didn’t get my big kiss!” She thought I was nuts until I told her how good it made me feel and the warm memories it brought back. There was no “big kiss” at the end of this Gossip, so I’m sending you one from sunny California so you know how much I enjoy your channel! Big kiss, Shawna! 😘

I used to be a nurse in a ward for acute stroke patients. We had strange things happen in one particular sideroom. One old lady sat outside the room, refusing to go in with 'them'. Another woman kept telling us that there was something evil in the room with her and begged us not to leave her there. I was on nightshift once and as you can imagine it was mostly dark with just lights at the nursing station. In the side room the call light and buzzer kept being pressed. When the buzzer went we would to go to the room to check the patient and tend to them. The problem was that the patient who was in the room was in a vegetative state and there was no way they could reach a buzzer. All night long it kept buzzing. You may say there was an electrical fault but it never happened again after that night. At one point that night we were tending to the patient in the room. They needed their whole bedding changed as well as having needing their position changed. I went to collect fresh bedding. When I returned to the room, the care assistant asked me where I had come from. The tap in the sink in the connecting shower room was running and she thought I had been working in there and she thought she had been talking to me the whole time. The bathroom was empty. Well she point blank refused to go back in the room again that night. I don't have any explanation for the goings on in that room. There were many strange things that happened in that particular ward that I never experienced anywhere else in my nursing career.

Hi Shauna. First of all, I loved the hand movement when describing how the glitter lady must have applied the glitter 🤣I remember an extremely embarrassing incident that happened in the hallowed walls of church. A rather handsome, new priest had recently joined the parish, and the nickname 'Father-what-a-waste' began circulating among the young ladies who attended. In amusement, I had relayed this information to my husband at home. The next time I attended, and at a particularly quiet time during the service, my then 7-year-old, very loud daughter asked, "Is that the one you call Father-what-a-waste'? I felt every eyeball staring at me, but that was nothing compared to the moment the priest looked up with a smile and said, 'Thank you'!

The best way to counter it is to go completely Gray Rock. Ignore, ignore, ignore. Media relies on our views & dollars & if that dries up, they'll move on to something else. Editing to clarify: When I unsubscribe from a media outlet, etc. I make sure I tell them why first & with an email or phone call...not a comment.

I saw on various channels a REQUEST going around, asking for the CONTENT CREATORS and the VIEWERS to NOT put out/NOT watch anything about the Morons during the weekend of the Trooping the Colour, 15-16th of June. I will surely NOT watch anything about them, I'll only watch whatever video is about the REAL Royals and the celebrations. What about you? Lets give H&M a message together! It might not be much, but it will be better than nothing, in my humble opinion.
