This is AMAZING! There are SO many recordings of Monti's original Czardas on KZbin. Kudos to Yang and Dugan for creating their own improv and interpretation. Not only is it impressive, but we can really tell that they're both having so much fun while performing it (they are also KILLING it). Life is too short to not take risks, guys. Don't criticize this, just try to embrace it! It is so beautiful. Bravo! :)

Why do you say that? Just because it's not "Monti's Czardas?" . Gypsies (Roma people, as they would like to be called) would mess around like this all the time, so it's actually historically quite accurate. I know what you mean though - it wouldn't pass in a music exam :/

@@liamnevilleviolist1809 When the improv started I grimaced a bit. My sister is a violinist and as a teen played this piece in many concerts. I loved "directing" her to really lean on the "gypsy" soul of the music. Then the more I listened the more I recognized the brilliance of the musicians. I must send this version as I am sure she will enjoy it too.
