Was this a joke? In case you don't know, Cumans has civilization bonus that allows them to build one extra TC in feudal age. Viper was playing as Cumans here.

I was just surprised that someone know what a "Feudal Age" and "tc" is, they also know "viper", yet they don't know Cuman civ bonus? That seemed very odd. So if they actually know what's going on and instead was trying to make a joke here, I would be seen as a nerd who didn’t get the joke and came to explain the obvious.

im new to aoe and i have done arround 600h already (campaign) and when i play aginst hard ai i finish the game arround 55min or more and when i watch some games on yt most of em ends arround 30-35mins thats why im scared to play ranked or even custom games how can i improve . if any new players want to try some custom with me just drop ur id im still learning

Just play ranked until your elo drops to its "natural" level and you'll face people with similar skill. Low elo games tend to progress slower and last longer, so an hour is no issue there.

Ranked is certainly scary. My guess is you are probably around 800 elo if you can beat the hard AI. Try looking in the custom multiplayer lobbies and you will find lots of them created for noobs.

Just play ranked bro. You will get quite random opponents at start so you will most likely lose the first 10 games very clearly but then you realize opponents get closer to your level. Choose a civ you like and play its strengths for example Magyar and look for a scout build order, learn to lure the boar and try to be consistent with training vils first and foremost. Build scouts until you have around 16 to 20 farms and then put everyone on gold until you can click castle age and in case of magyars build another stable and go knights with 12 on gold and then build more TCS and more farms once that works consistently you might already be above 1000 elo and figure the rest automatically

America's education system is incredibly poor for a developed nation and it is so focused on the US that a lot of American's don't know much at all about the world outside NA and even that's a stretch to include other countries on the continent.
