Win condition? Not important, what's important is getting to longbows. Skirms and rams just means you need more longbows. If you need more than 150 longbows then it's a civ victory and you couldn't do anything about it. If you win without longbows, did you really win?

Oh, Britons. They feel like they've been ignored lately, and then you remember they get an extra 2 free range, and range is one of the most relevant stats to an archer -- and then you remember Yeoman exists, and it's actually 3 range, for 11 total on Xbows/Arbs in imp. If everything they were actually good at wasn't countered by Skirms, they'd be nuts -- they do have FU Barracks to make a wall of Spears against Cav, but if Champions were actually viable, Briton Arbs with Champ walls would be amazing.
