Loving how you view and describe the different societies. Keep up the good work Vir Das! Privilege seems rather absurd to even define these days, and I think a lot of it is to blame by the "race war" in the US, all these sjws and hateful intolerant individuals on twitter and other platforms. It's so much hate and ignorance in the West these days, and so much division. We're basically backtracking as a society.

There is a difference between conservatives in US and conservatives in India. US conservatives like to conserve the values of the constitution. Indian conservatives like to throw out the constitution that have similar values to US constitution and go back to some religious value.
@harshsharma033 жыл бұрын
@@maverickspencer5581 You're kind of wrong on that one. US conservatives are ALSO into traditional Christian religious values, most don't support LBGT(which is horrible). They don't believe in Climate Change and a lot of them make up the anti vaccination and anti mask community. Stop trying to paint the US conservatives in a better light than their Indian counterparts. You speak half truths.
@maverickspencer55813 жыл бұрын
@@harshsharma03 American founders didnt form the constitution saying, that u have to believe in LGBTQ or Climate change. Constitution clearly defines certain fundamental human rights that are inalienable , like right of free speech, expression ,freedom of association etc, along with the liberty to pursue ones own happiness. No conservative in US is saying to kill LGBT ppl or to kill climate activist. Religious ppl inside the conservative sphere, argue for the right of church to not conduct any gay marriage or to stop the govt from forcing someone to bake a cake for a gay wedding.
@harshsharma033 жыл бұрын
