I often wondered why Norwegian singers have such beautiful soul-crushing voices, a young gentleman made me cry from a Bruce Springsteen song a while back, until I watched the series Vikings... it all makes sense now. Stunning rendition of a Bon Jovi classic at 6:56. Well done young lady, and well done Norway! Norwegian voices don't just sing a song, they tell a story, as it should be, the art of heart-toughing story telling through music is a rare commodity in this day and age...

yes, and isn't it just ironic how norway, and belgium as well, so notorious for their low scores on the eurovision song festival, deliver such original soul-to-soul performances here?

The one who sang "it's my life“ has caught me for ever! The way she made that song hers is absolutely perfect.. Had to go and check the original song cause my hunch said that shivering and soul piercing voice must have made it its own! No way such a perfection comes out of a mere repetition. Absolutely stunning 🎉

Loving what people are doing with 'The Sound of Silence' these days. Not disrespectful, just different, and in most cases, better. (I grew up with the original, which I still also love.) Same can be said for most of these songs... loving the reinterpretation.

I love artists who take songs, especially those that have been overdone on talent shows, those that are very well known and popular, and those older songs that haven’t hit the radar of most contestants and re-make them as a completely different vibe. ❤ The best part of watching The Voice and other shows!

Although I don't think any of them are better than the originals. In my opinion anyways. I agree with you. Some of their versions I love. You just hear a song in a whole different light. I have to admit sometimes I'm like dang isn't that such and such song. LOL not only did I like their version. Sometimes I had no idea what the song was until later on in the song. LOL peace love and happiness to you and yours ♥️
