Not true. While they are quite difficult they are far from the most difficult. Celine has extremely expressive dramatic voice which gives this impression, in fact as we can see it's not impossible for many singers to sing her songs well. From the other hand Mariah's songs are the most difficult and as a vocal coach myself with 13 years experience I have never had someone who goes even close to her insane and effortless agility and technique, let alone the tone.

Her early French Canadian work is amazing for such a young person. It was winning Eurovision 1988 that started propelling her out of Quebec and then her duet with Peabo Bryson cemented her in US (and othr Anglo countries) minds. Later one she started doing a LOT of French work, and it is just stunning.. I am so thankful that even though I cant really think in it anymore to have a conversation, I can under stand it spoken (without wild accents), and understand 99% of it written.
