The Egon and Susan battle is way beyond!!! Bring Me To Life is an absolutely phenomenal song! Susan is an absolute powerhouse vocalist and Egon brings that shade (and power when required) in the song and for the duet that this song is. Awesome, awesome, awesome! ❤ Susan was the standout though!!!

if these are the greatest battles in 2023 i am disappointed. I have seen other battles which i think were in 2023 which were way better than most of these. For example "Call me" by Blondie with an opera singer as one of the two opponents (really great) and the best "Phantom of the opera" if have heard (and seen) so far from the Voice of Germany (so far the best battle of all times for me!).

These battles really highlights what’s wrong with these talent competitions.. The need to show off absolutely all of your vocal ability makes it way over the top and it just sounds weird. I don’t blame them, they kind of have to to have a chance.
