I'm not French, and have never heard this song. But to me, it seemed more like a dramatic reading than singing, for the most part. So, I wouldn't have turned. That being said, as a performance, especially with his expressions and energy, I thought it was very good. Good luck!

I noticed the dramatic reading. He was able to sing "Amsterdam" with the other singers. He should focus more on singing and less on the dramatic reading.
