no, she did really good as well, it's just in his comfort zone and out of her range and still did good. when they do duo's, they should do two songs to accomodate both styles and measure adjustments.

I wish I spoke Norwegian so I knew what the coaches said. What an amazing duet Thomas has an amazingly touching voice. Sophia’s voice is so beautiful. When they performed together it was pure Magic. I could listen to this a million times. I think I’ve already listened a half a million. I can’t get enough. Amazing! So good!

This speaks to me, I don't know why I want to share this information with strangers... I'm sure the way these people sang... in a way... speaks to anyone who has had harmony with someone they've loved. Reminds me of a time I was in love with my ex and honestly still am... I'm depressed because she is far away and living her own life as I am... and I'm afraid to take the leap to reach her even when we've been talking and saying we miss each other... I don't know if she will see me as the same person anymore. The Harmony these two project into me remind me of better times when taking risks and living life... and thus leading me to my most comfortable and loved moments. Why can't I take those risks again? Because I'm back home and not with her? Don't be like how I am now... take risks and experience the world, you might find your perfect harmony.

it's been 5 years since this video was released and I still get angry every time i watch it and i watch it a lot because it's one of the most beautiful recordings ever, he's got a great voice but her voice is equally as beautiful, just in a different way, it could easily be argued that the whole reason this performance is so epically beautiful is because it's these two singing it and what is the reward for creating such an iconic recording, she get booted out the door and we don't get to enjoy the beautiful she could have made....it's not right or fair......

There was no cheating, so it's a 'fair' decision. And whether it was the right decision or not is purely subjective, like all singing competitions. The judges made their decision: she lost, he won. That's life. I don't think she was 'booted out the door'. I'm sure she would be humble and intelligent enough to accept it. There is a big world out there with lots of recording companies who could employ her if they thought there was a market. I agree both voices are equally as beautiful. The problem for female singers is that there are many more women with excellent voices compared to men, so the competition is fierce among female singers, but the number of men with voices like Tomas are very few and far between. On that basis alone, the decision was 'right'.
