Top 10 Servants to Save for in 2018 - Fate/Grand Order (English Server)

For those who do not understand why there are any welfare or "free" Servants placed on this list... Consider that you might be thinking about them from the standpoint and comfort of knowing that you will likely participate in whatever event the welfare Servants are part of... Say, you cannot play during that event, or you're someone who doesn't start playing FGO at all until after that event has happened? Unlike even most "Limited" Servants, who will usually be given a second rate-up later, those welfare Servants will *never* become available ever again. Worse yet, these particular Servants I mentioned are so limited on their own, Aniplex USA has made it clear on a couple of occasions already that, while they will do what they can to make it work out, there is no guarantee the NA server will even be getting the collaboration events that these Servants are part of due to the ever-potential licensing issues. It's still expected that the events will come, but it's not guaranteed; thus, even experienced players are at some risk here. This is a major factor as to why they could reach this list: I mean to bring awareness to these welfare Servants because those within the English-speaking community will be considered lucky if they even get the chance to see them, and players should save up whatever they need--Quartz, apples, what have you--to make absolutely certain that they get all five copies and their ascension materials should they care even a little about having them, if they even appear in the first place.

The Voice of Saint Quartz Is it possible that they might do a re-run of events with welfare servants. I heard that the JP version did a re-run of the valentines event that just happened, so I'm wondering if they would do a re-run of Saber Wars or Kara no Kyoukai for example.

Irish is a weird language so here's more pronunciations (In my dialect) Cú Chulainn is Cuu Cullin Diarmuid Ua Duibhne is Djir-mwid O Din-neh Fergus Mac Roich is Fer-giss Mac Roach Fionn Mac Cumhaill is Fee-yon Mac Cool or Mac Coowel (both are correct) Medb is Mayve If there's anyone I'm forgetting, ask away. I come from Ireland so I can at least make a solid guess (barely anyone here speaks fluent Gaelic).

@@drakke125Channel In Japanese they pronounce it ska-sa-ha, which isn't even close to the actual Irish pronunciation. The person above is correct. I've also seen people say it can be pronounced skaw-hawk, but either way the t is silent and the scá is pronounced "skaw," as in rhymes with "claw."

I got 6 summer servants (vanilla Seiba and Marie as well) in JP using 220 quartz and 30 tickets. Double that amount at the very least. I know damn well I got very lucky spending so little.

I loved this video so much, the voices you do are so damn entertaining. I actually had to pause to catch my breath from laughing so hard at the Chloe bit. Just some constructive criticism: Your list seemed to be jumping between a "To save for" list and a "Best of 2018" list. Mostly in the fact that you included free event servants, which you don't need to save for. But the PSA about how good they were was very helpful. Personally, I would have included all the notable free servants at the beginning. Since they're free you don't need to leave any out, and after you listed them you could have started with the Top 10 of servants you actually need to save quartz for. Keep up the great work and I hope to see more videos from you!

One thing about Saber Shiki: Yes, her base attack is pretty low, but her passive increase buster, arts and quick card performance by 6% each, meaning, her actual attack on every card type except her extra card would be 11,364. Sure, it's still not _that_ high, but definitely higher than, say, Altria. Not to mention that her third skill heals 8750 HP on a 4 turn CD at level 10 if you give her maid in halloween. So yeah, she's definitely not OP but has a few interesting uses, especially if you pair her with Tamamo.

Love the list, very informative. One thing to point out is that FGO NA has shown to be quite different from FGO JP so some of these servants will most likely appear in multiple gacha's at least more than they did in JP.

I cannot stress how Jalter saved my life as a support, fighting against Cu Alter in American singularity. Her invincibility skill, left me with one health to protect me from Cu Alter's noble phantasm and the buster chain with noble phantasm to finally kill him was simply far too fulfilling

Summer modred is actually BROKEN against caster enemies w np charger booster in your party. You can spam her phantasm EVERY TURN! I opened over 400 boxes with her in the summer racing event with her, tamamo and waiver. (party changeable with elena or bride nero)

Great video dood. I've been playing for 5 months now and heavily enjoying it. The only servant that i'm REALLY REALLY looking forward to is Musashi...but I welcome any and all servants to my Chaldea. Regardless of rarity. I've been extremely lucky since October and hope that continues...of the top 10 here on the list, I hope for....well any and all of them but if i was to pick 1, it would be Jeane Alter. Having an Avenger just for the class alone sounds awesome. Other than her, Minamoto-no-Yorimitsu. I'ma massive sucker for anything japanese lore related from samurai to youkai so yeah. Thank you. I had no idea about most of these, other than Brynhildr & Ryougi Shiki. It's gotten me excited a bit too, knowing that big updates lie in the future containing newer classes. I'll probably even spend money to get Jeanne Alter if I must. Now I'm really gonna save up on Saints Quartz I couldn't get Brynhildr when she came recently, but I managed to get Saber Ryougi during the current event at least Even if she isn't too good, having a favorite character is still a plus side.
