We all love Rod but this guy has got something very powerful, i don't know what it is, maybe he didn't abuse his voice too much like Rod did by singing and shouting for so many years. this guy is around the same age and his voice has some depth built into it that is just fine. so I think right now his voice is even better than Rod's
