She is singing one of the greatest French songs of all time "Je suis malade". The song was written by Serge Lama but became popular in France/worldwide after the great Dalida sang it. Dalida is France's premier singer of all time who who was born and grew up in Egypt to a family of Italian origin, and who spoke French in a rather unique and rare now-extinct accent that was spoken only in the Francophile Catholic schools in Egypt, and that continues to be the topic of debate/curiosity to this very day. The girl who sings here Marilynne Naaman from Lebanon. She is an actress and singer. She adds Arabic lyrics to the song and gives it an oriental feel on top of her Arabian French accent and uses vocal techniques common to Arabic singing. If those techniques appeal to you can look up Faouzia. A rising Canadian artist of Moroccan origin who is fluent in English, French, and Arabic and who also infuses her singing with Arabic vocal techniques.

Je n'ai jamais été aussi ému en écoutant de la musique qu'en écoutant cette jeune femme à la voix magnifique. J'ai pleuré comme un petit enfant lorsque sa voix m'a transpercé le cœur et l'âme. C'était comme une expérience spirituelle purificatrice. Je tremble encore en écrivant ces lignes.
