Wish I could buy something like this as a kit. Would be fun putting it all together. Great job.

I've seen a lot of very expensive high end teardrop campers that don't even stand up to the quality of your camper. The first thing that I really like about your camper build is that you used all birch plywood. Too, all of the space in useable and nothing wasted. Like that you under coated the bottom with bed liner spray. The only thing that I would have wanted is to have all one color skins on all sides and too have more of a 1950's feel for the wheels and fenders. But all in all you done a damn good job.

Of all the videos I have watched on DIY teardrop trailers, this is my most favorite one. The craftsmanship is excellent. Additionally, the planning/design is perfect. Would have loved to seen a video of the complete build on this. Great job!!! Thanks for sharing.

Exceptional design and a fast CNC build. My teardrop is the same dimensions and I'm very happy with that decision. Well done!

Amazing build. Very thought out use of space to maximize its use but keeping it minimalist and clean. Really dig the under bed storage and drawer combo, great planning! My favorite build out there. Hope I can do one borrowing some of you great ideas. Thanks for sharing!!!

@@TheVoyagerProject Im in Sydney Australia and love your design above anything else iv seen, great work. Can i ask how you can put the side profile of the camper including rebates onto a program that i can give a CNC guy here to router out for me?

I have access to a CNC and CAD, I'd certainly be interested in any plans or CAD files if you may be willing to share. So often, teardrop projects seems to be out west. It was good to see Ohio represented! I used to live in Cleveland (Strongsville) and Columbus (Dublin). Have fun with future projects and travels. I've had fun checking out your new website. Keep the blog, articles, and videos coming. Good stuff so far!

An excellent design and one if I had the space and tools I would love to build myself. I really love the floor storage method you came up with as well as the simple galley setup. Too many tear drop camper designs want a highend kitchen - thats not the point of going camping in a small simple camper in my opinion. The only thing I might change is the addition of a propex heater and replacing the AGM battery with a lithium one since you have it in such a enclosed space.

wow I like this ALOT! Im going to build with foam and overage - fiberglass, but I never understood why the small is in the back for aerodynamics, I would turn that around, Im thinking as light as possible and aerodynamic, because Im going to pull it with my trike motorcycle. THANKS 4 the layout and ideas!

Where did you source the 5x10´ plywood? Also, it took me a while to figure out what the line of slots in the outer walls was for - brilliant!
@cuartman3 жыл бұрын
That looks like one solid construction method. I am in the design phase of my build, settling on 10' length for the project, but the width is being debated between 60" and closer to 77" wide with semi-integrated wheel fenders to keep the width down to 84" outside wheel/fenders. It will have its construction challenges due to working outside of the 60" widths of baltic birch.

I was ging to say perfect, but.......... ..........damn, none of your socket/ outlets are level! I hope you sorted them out before handing this over to a customer. That aside, it's a great build. The accuracy that a CNC gives you is a game changer.

Fantastic build! That cnc really opens up a world of options. I would have loved to have that thing for my build. Did you take inspiration from the Vistabule with that below floor storage?
@TheVoyagerProject3 жыл бұрын
I'd say the inspiration came more from their bed / futon. The storage underneath is really just a result of having to raise the bed so it's up off the floor in the couch position. But yeah, Vistabule trailers have a great design!

I like many things about this design, but I don't agree with not having a built-in stove. Having a stove in the galley is about half the reason for having a galley as opposed to just a big storage locker.
