I was rooting for gib, but to be fair it looks can be deceiving, I did wrestling I was winning a challenge match from a teammate to go to state, he shot for my body, it caused me to pivot my left back and body towards my right foot, and snap my left side of my right foot felt like it folded I thought I broke it I was crying from the pain and I had to go to the hospital, turns out it was a severe toe sprain they couldn't tell if it was fractured, but even after a year of recovery I was still feeling till like 2 more years when it was supposed to only last months, when the coaches saw what happened they were confused, they said they never seen something like this happened, worst thing happen to me, consequences of an unhealthy weight loss started to appear since I couldn't work out or run, and I gained like 40 pounds

It's crazy how one loss completely changed Austin mentally. You could also tell physically that Austin wasn't at his best either, His cardio and stamina and conditioning was still seemingly quite poor. You could tell after the first round, Austin was getting overwhelmed. I feel like Austin was lacking paitience after the first round, He was constantly engaging in a lot of exchanges and wasn't really defensively aware he was over committing a lot with his lead hook. I also feel like Austin knew his cardio wasn't at his best and I feel like Austin was trying to find a way out of the fight without going through getting knocked out like he did in the first fight with Gib.

@SaVaGe-513

I wouldn’t say Austin’s cardio wasn’t the best… he could have done all the necessary things to be in shape but when u don’t live the life year round then that plays a factor and the other thing could be he actually was in great shape but then with all the emotions and excitement he could have had a huge adrenaline dump at the beginning of the fight and then lost all his energy… or he could have not done the proper things and was lazy but everyone behind the scenes even Wade said he heard he was training his ass off and taking it serious this time
@kanamxrc710
@kanamxrc710 Жыл бұрын
I agree with you and also if anyone has ever trained combat sports, being rocked or knocked down/out really does mind games on you especially for austin to come back so early and fast after that recent loss he has not recovered properly and given his brain enough time to heal, so as he was fading during the fight and then got hit with the hand that dazed him that was the mind games coming into play where 1 he didnt let his brain recover and 2 the knockdowns came into play where the fear of them made austin gun shy, hesitant, more cautious, and when he got hit he didnt want to be in there anymore
@bruhbruhs6613
@bruhbruhs6613 Жыл бұрын
Well said I feel the same way. The main problem with Austin is that his stamina is very poor. Idk why it hasn’t changed from the first match, a bit weird. You can see that he has great technique and can fight at the beginning, but when his feet give up, he can’t do anything after that.

I broke my foot once without even realizing it and walked on it for 2-3 weeks. I didn’t think it was broken at first since it wasn’t any real swelling, thought I just pulled a muscle bad. But the entire time I was walking on it I was struggling to, pretty much limping every single step because it couldn’t hold the weight from it being broken. My point is that if Austin broke is ankle in that very moment, there’s no way he would’ve been able to walk to the ropes perfectly fine the way he did before the fight officially ended. He was walking perfectly fine with his hands beside his waist, he might’ve hurt it by that turn when they were holding each other but I don’t believe there’s any way he broke his ankle and walked the way he did in the ring.

i snapped my fibia clean in two while skating, and then skated 3 miles home on it. Its not always as simple as "If it was broken, you wouldnt be walking on it. For me, it felt like a sharp piece of wood stabbing the back of my calf. In reality, it kinda was, the snapped fibia was stabbing the muscle. But, it wasnt that bad, i could definitely walk on it. In general, ligament/tendon injuries are much more painful and effect your movement more.

The two times that I tore ligaments the reaction is shock and realization of what happened and instinct makes you sit down straight away even if you don’t fell pain because of adrenaline (both times I was playing sports) and get as comfortable as you can until you realize what happened and then until you get help to hobble wherever you need to get too. you don’t WALK on it and scream oh fucckkkkkk my ankle.
